Thank you for reporting the issue with the card “39016” (The Search for Spiral).
After reviewing your save file, we found that the “Take 2 damage” was set as a cost rather than an effect. In your case, when your hero took 2 damage, it triggered “39066,” which increased the damage by 1, causing the cost to fail.
We will update the card to ensure that “Take 2 damage” is treated as an effect to resolve this issue.
