The art is cool, the dark background create a great visibility and contrast nicely.
I had to play multiple times to really understand the concept.
It's interesting even if in my opinion it could have been polished a bit more.

Fun game, good job :) I liked that you included highscores! If you want to make them global there are plugins that are really easy to setup! We used SilentWolf in our game and I think it makes it more fun to compete with everyone (I sound like an advertisement, I know :D). Good job on your game!

I liked the music as well as the cool sparkly stars. The gameplay was fun. How did you get your high score to save even after reloading the page? I wish I could switch colors with the scroll wheel as it was too hard to remember what button switched to what color.

I used save file in the script and I made it for score management.. It should work even if its html.
You can also use now the scroll wheel to scroll through colors or click.
