Nope - I've completed at least one game jam before.

How does your game fit the theme?
You want to get started on a new job, so the goal of the whole game is to reach the 31th floor to have a job interview. Also the title very direct "get a job", just get started getting a job! basicaly.

Very funny and nice overall presentation!

There's a few things I would have liked better on the visuals side though. The coins at first glance look a lot like a fireball so I keep instinctively trying to dodge them when they are flying at me lol. Also at first I totally didn't notice that there are words on the vending machine and there were supposed to be your upgrade choices, I just walk up and press E randomly lol.

Nice overall game though, but I do wish it was a bit harder.

It's a simple concept but it's very fun, the fast pace of the game is what hooked me, from the first seconds of gameplay you can already tell that it's going to be fun

Also if you have the time feel free to play and rate my game, I would love some feedback

Love how enemies/objects turn into smaller chunks when destroyed. makes the combat feel good

I have found this game really triggering for not censoring the word j*b

Wanted to add the option to sensor for accesability reasons, but the time constraints forced me too sadly abandon this feature
