Yes - I'm new to game jams!

How does your game fit the theme?
My game simulates the idea that we all start as a mere seedling and that in order to grow we have to be continuously nurtured and face dangers along our growth.
nahh jk lmao idk man I just thought "hmmm plant start from seed" thats all thank you!

777, very short, and VERY HARD oh my word my soldier was a very dumb fellow.

Anyhow, great work, lovely game :)

If you could play and rate my game, that would be fantastic :D

I liked the gameplay, I would enjoy more upgrades or options. (Personal preference but I dont like the diference in the assets a lot. Theres pixelart, PNGs, hand-drawn)

The gameplay is fun and the game concept fits well with the jam's theme.

Maybe it’s just personal preference, but I think a game looks way better with super simple assets that feel cohesive, rather than using random assets from the internet that clash with each other.

The Idea of making a plant grow is a nice base for the theme and the implementation is really nice. I really enjoyed protecting my plant. Especially having multiple attack angles not just left and right. What bothered me a bit is that there were so many art styles combined that it broke the immersion. On the topic of immersion breaking, why have tiny soldiers shoot the bugs? There was everything from pixel art to 16-bit sprites to Comic style to photo realism.  Additionally I would love to see some progress. The score going up is fine but the plant should develop features faster.

You make me hate cell phones. The click box on the beetles seem a little off too, only the abdomen area seems clickable?

All in all, I had a lot of fun with this one. Thank you

Fun clicker haha :)

The 1st 100 points I thought would be boring but when the bugs started to appear, it turned into a fun experience and then I got swarmed by them and made it more fun, everything was getting under control and then I needed to start typing?! hahaha

At that point I laughed and tried my best to protect the plant, I couldn’t type a whole sentence correctly, the bugs bullied the plant and my soldier did the best it could

Good short experience :)

At the start of the game, it was actually very fun clicking away the bugs!  But after a while, my hand started to hurt from clicking so much and had to turn on an auto clicker.  Also, for a game that doesn't introduce very many new mechanics, it was very long.  Even with an auto clicker, getting to 300k score took a very long time, and as much as i wanted to see the flower, I just couldn't keep going.   Overall a very nice first game though!

I may have put the Score requirement for the Flower to bloom a little to high because I thought the added multiplier would make it really fast to achieve hehe. But I really appreciate the feedback! 💜

I crack up seeing the inconsistent art aahhaahha~ looks so goofy I enjoyed it. Clicking was kinda tiring tho

Im not really good at making assets and I couldn't find a free asset pack with consistent styles to what I want, So I just said fuck it and used random assets. But I am glad you enjoyed the janky and goofy style it had. 💜💜
