How does your game fit the theme?
The game progresses as the player moves (think Super Hot, but not as cool). So, unless the player just gets started, the game won't go anywhere.

Really cool simple and fun game! Great job!
Thank you for the kind words, I really appreciate it! π
Super fun and really polished/strategic overall! Nice work! Loved the opening animation BTW
Thank you for the positive feedback and for playing! Truth be told, the opening animation quickly became my favorite part of the whole game, I was really satisfied with the weight the logo feels like it has as it crashes down from the top of the screen—so I'm glad I'm not the only one!
This is crazy fun and I def wanna see it as a full game. There is some really fun stuff you could expand upon in this 100%
Thank you for playing and for the positive comment! I'm glad that you had so much fun with it! I've got a roadmap of features and updates I plan on adding to the game that I'm working on, and hopefully it will make it even more fun and engaging!
Well done! I can see that thereβs a strategic element to the game, and that you can play the game as fast or as slowly as you want. I can see myself coming back to this every now and then.
Thank you for your comment! I'm glad that you enjoyed it as well! Hopefully with future updates it will make it even more exciting and engaging as well π
I really liked the uniqueness of the concept of the game and having to plan out moves, nice work in the jam! Feel like you could slowly integrate the waves, so it doesn't start out fully packed, and each row gets fuller as you progress, (but maybe this was just because I didn't read the instructions and was overwhelmed by what I saw haha). But it did get intuitive afterwards, nice game!
Thank you, I appreciate your feedback! I will definitely be balancing the spawning of things more in future updates. I'm also wanting to make a tutorial to introduce the player to the gameplay mechanics, so you don't have to read a 4-page guide on how the game works just to play lol! I'm glad that you enjoyed it so much though!
Very fun, and I may sort of lost the sense of time while playing. Definitely very satisfying when you get used to the movement and trying to plan several rows ahead
Mission accomplished! I'm glad that you enjoyed it so much, I was hoping it would be one someone could get lost in and just enjoy playing for a few runs, and then feel the drive to want to make it just a bit further on the next run!
Simple but super adictive, and the retro art style suits the game super well!
I appreciate your comment! I'm glad that it delivered on the addicting gameplay, that was one of my goals when making the game! π
Full disclosure, I decided to try this out based purely on the title. It's the sort of title that a theme song forms itself around in your head when you hear it. The game itself absolutely delivered as well. Definitely one of the most viscerally satisfying I've played thus far, especially once you get into a groove. The graphics, while simple, are very stylish and well-designed, and the tracks are absolute bangers. Great work on this one.
Thank you so much! It makes me very happy to hear that you enjoy it so much! My goal was to make a fun and addicting game that anyone could enjoy! I'm hoping that the planned future updates will continue with that feel π I really appreciate your kind words!
Excellent art, pretty fun game. Would love to see more of it, with more special tiles and maybe special moves from when you are going to certain doom. 5/5.
I'm glad that you enjoyed it! I've got an update roadmap that I'm working on for planned future updates. Some of those things include having special movement abilities, floor progression and even bosses to vary the gameplay!
This Game was really fun! And I'm a huge sucker for pixel are! Good Job!
Thank you! I'm glad that you enjoyed it so much! I had a lot of fun making it, and I'm looking forward to continuing to work on it!
Holy moly was that a fun time! I love the pawn movement, it creates a very fun pathfinding kind of gameplay loop. I found myself looking 4-5 rows up the more I played, trying to find the optimal move. Making it past a horde of enemies felt crazy. I especially liked the ability to time your movements with the spike.
Awesome job!
Thank you so much, I really appreciate your comment and I'm so glad that you had so much fun with it! I'm hoping to add even more to the game after the judging ends, so be on the look out for some new and fun additions that will make the game more challenging and engaging! ππ
I got 4th place! This was a lot of fun, great job!
Very well done! 4th place is no joke! I'm glad that you enjoyed it so much, that means a lot! π
Wow. I love this game! The art is amazing. The music fits the art. Its really fun.
Thank you! I'm glad that you enjoyed it so much! π
Very meditative and fun. I kinda wish you could move one space forward without changing lanes somehow, even if it was an ability, because as it stands half of the tiles in the game are completely inaccessible.
I'm glad you enjoyed it! That is a really great suggestion! After the game jam ends I do want to add more (different floors, unlockable perks, etc), so this would be a great one to add! Being able to move forward one tile with a short cooldown I feel like could unlock a lot of new strategy potential.
the kinda game i have to tear myself from lol. very well done
Thank you, that means a lot to hear! π
AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm glad you liked it! π
Very fun game. It keeps you addicted like an arcade game
Thank you! I'm glad the addictive nature came through π
Saw this on YouTube... What engine are you using?
Awesome! Glad you were able to find it π
I used RPG Maker MV to make this game π
