The art is really good! The game is simple but fun! This is a pretty good first game jam game!

the pixel arts and animations are very well done. I like the mechanic of collecting stuff to finish the game. Great job the game is really good specially for a first jam entry!

Not too bad for a first game jam and for a newbie game dev. The visual style is nice, things come together well and good, the UI is solid for the game, it all comes together well. I did encounter a slight issue where if you hit E on a character repeatedly, it'll restart their dialogue instead of continuing to the next piece of dialogue, which I think should be fixed to make it so either E or Spacebar can continue the dialogue forward. Beyond that though, it's a nice, simple little game that's a solid start to your game dev journey. I wish you the best of luck on your game dev journey going forward!

It was fun to play your game , really cute characters and music. Nice detailing too, you can improve the game bit by letting the player move diagonally and also there are some bugs.

I really like the way this game captured the feel of the festival during the midnight scene. Great job with the lighting! Also I can see a lot of little details that I really liked, like the highlighted sprite when you get close enough to interact, the little movement of the characters to come into the frame when they have text, the avatars themselves were really great. The only thing I didn't like was that you couldn't move diagonally - this would be a really easy fix and it's good to know how to do it, I'd definitely recommend looking into it if you want to spend any more time on this game. Overall great little story, and it's told well. Even though the world is small it is fun to explore. Thanks for sharing!

I love this art a lot. The game feels nice also. The chicken grew small sadly at the end. I loved how giant it was. I think if you put a ring of light around the center of the end screen, it would help a lot in showing the characters, and say it's late at night. Good job on this one.

The game is cute and I like the art a lot.

This was a rather cute little game, I quite liked the font for the action prompts. It was very quirky and fit well with the light, fun vibe of the game and the dialogue was nice as well. The movement animations were also quite good as well and it was easy enough to follow what I was supposed to be doing.

Very impressive! Well done! If I had to give 1 point of feedback: The multitouching WASD wasn't possible so you'd had to release the previous movement instruction before the new direction, but thats more QoL issue).
