What an interesting text adventure. I wished there was something that made it easier to keep track of what I've learnt about each interviewee, but I guess I should've taken some notes. But I reckon something that lets you check the logs of previous interviewees in the final decision would help a lot. But presentation-wise, this game was phenomenal. Great work on your first game jam!
A note system would be great!
This was an interesting text adventure, I honestly didn't expect to see on in the jam. The music fits for every character, the presentation is simple but looks really good. I can only double down on feedback that has already been given by others like an option to make the text go faster if you press a key, removing the need to write "next" to continue and adding some small sprites to diffentiate between the characters.
the storytelling was good and i liked the effects of the screen and the texts, nice game and very original!
i would maybe add sprites for each character, like icons to make it more interesting
I was thinking about doing ASCII art but I had no idea where I would start with it. But now that the jam is done it's something that I'm adding to the list of things I want to do.
I like the concept and immersive storytelling, it was very good. My biggest 2 points of feedback would be: text very smol, and I would maybe cut out the word "next" as required input. Well done!
I think I have an idea for dealing with text size might be able to make it into a type of command or setting the player could enter. I can definitely see cutting the "next" input for text like the ones that lead to the next question. I could do some sort of auto system so the dialog wouldn't be to much text if you decide to skip it.
Whoa that experience was immersive! sfx and the old computer stle was absolutely amazing! btw, got the 4 ending, some day i get the other (if i remember to)!
that was really fun. the music and sound effects i really like too. i wish there'd been maybe less people and more in-depth info on each character, if that makes sense. but it was fun asking the different question. i failed miserably on my first one, and completely succeeded on the 2nd. great lil game
Such a cool idea, as a lover of text based games this was so much fun. Fits with the theme too well because at the endings I just kept thinking about how teh story could continue. Awesome job!
Wow what a amazing throwback to the past!
I love the aesthetic and vibe you were going for, it's really immersive with the color choice and music choice for each character reflects their personality, the writing is great, characters felt distinct from each other with their own quirks and habits.
I can't really add much besides the obvious ones such as more stories and dialogue.
This is a nitpick, but matching the keyboard sound as the text pops up would be nice! Sometimes I would hear 2 clicks for one letter which can kinda throw the player off.
Overall this is amazing for what it is! As a fellow newbie amazing job! ✨
I loved how the colors and music complement the character thats being interviewed. Good lore too! Cool game!
I love parser games, so glad to see one submitted to the jam. love the OG terminal shader, the writing is great... Good job
In love with the visuals and the concept!
Love the concept. I enjoy how each interview had its own colour scheme and music.
Although i didnt get to see that mysterious person this is really fun and graphics/audio is amazing
