This was a really interesting idea. I also really liked how satisfying the sound effects were just before an explosion. The criticism I have is that it wasn't always clear what things I could walk through and which I couldn't like the walls of the farm. Other than that, this was a great submission!

A really cute and fun take on the vampire survivors-style! It took me a second to realize how to play, but once I did it was straight-forward and fun ^^

Would be cool if you could die as well, it would add some extra stakes to avoiding the enemies.

Also really liked how it slowed down a bit when you absorbed bullets, it helped a lot with gameplay. Good job! ^^

This was super fun! Probably my favorite game so far, it was fun trying to balance getting close enough to the bullets without getting hit in the early game, and the contrast makes the increased range at high charge feel incredible! Only note would be that it could benefit from more distinction between where you can move and where you can't, with hard outlines or something similar. Great work!

Noted!

Thanks for playing :D

Fuuuun! Very jealous that you made time to create a fun ending animation. This feels like a very comfortable scope and execution. Do you feel like you struggled at all with the creation of it? Or was the execution simple and then you were able to spend a lot of time on looks/animation

Hey thanks for playing! I spent most of my time creating basic spawning systems for enemies and world chunks and ending animations :D
Biggest issue was designing them, other than that it's pretty much just a bunch of circle sprites from one of the kenney pack with black material, shockwaves are line2d's expanding to the size depending on your power and earthquake lines are essentially line2d's with semi random coordinates :D
Main thing i struggled with was keeping the scope managable, and ensuring everything semi works :D

Very juicy! I liked it a lot, congrats!

Hey thanks for playing it! Appreciated :D

The game in itself is very fun and the core mechanic is great! I’d love it to explore more on the possibilities with it!

The style itself is not in my taste. It’s very noisy and offers no visual consistency. I bet you could have made the game with those pixelated assets alone.

Thanks for playing, I appreciate the feedback :D

I love the bullet time effect and sound effects that play when you eat the bullets, especially when you a lot of on screen projectile at once. That together with the screen-shake makes it feel super satisfying. Great job!

Thanks for playing :D

I actually have 6 different explosions depending on what score you get, that being said, i slightly overbuffed score gain in the final build :D

Fun game, is the city procedurally generated?

Developer

It's a simple chunk generator, i made 2 32x32 tilemaplayers and spawned them around the player when you were close to seeing an empty spot, I would've made more chunks but had little time lmao :D

Great idea for the power theme, the screen shake when you fully charge up and grow is pretty cool.

Thanks for playing it :D

Short and sweet, I’ve always loved this kind of games to parry-ish attack! I had fun with it :) Congrats!
