Took me a second to understand but I really like it. Reminds of me the original Mario Bros. arcade game, with better physics lol

Great idea.  Great graphics.  Great sound.  Liked the game play mechanics and the whole feel of the game.  My favorite of the jam.

Cool as hell game, presentation and mechanics all look and feel like polished indie game you'd see on steam.

Only thing missing was some sort of fail state to give it a challenge.

Took me a minute to understand the game, but I got there eventually. I do wish there was more to it, like some kind of a challenge to it, be it avoiding damage or a time limit or something. But that said, the music, sound effects, visual effects, art, just the general look and feel of the game is really solid.

I didn't know at first how to feed the monsters but then when I jumped on the fruits again and they flew off the screen it made sense! I like how there's difficulty in that kicking fruits knocks out other fruits in the path. The art style and sound design is well done but I wish there was more difficulty or stakes because I mostly just waited for the correct fruit to appear and kick it. Overall good job!

Loved the SFX. They were so satisfying when jumping. I felt like I kept bugging out on the controls though. Sometimes just A would work but not D to move the other way. But then if I clicked the Arrow keys that would reset it. Not sure what was going on. It wasn’t super clear what to do, but I kept getting the fruit in the pumpkins mouth. It would also be nice if the fruit sprites matched what was bouncing around, and also an indicator of progression. Fun gameplay loop though

Thanks! the sfx were fun to make on this one!

Apart from the start screen, which is a bit unclear, i really liked the rest of the game. also love the art style.

A perfect combination of everything: pixel art, music, fun mechanics and game design. I wasn't really sure what I was supposed to do most of the time, and had trouble connecting the animated sprite models to the slot machine UI above the enemy, but somehow won the game anyway, LOL:

Liked also that the sprites you're supposed to feed and slide into the enemy don't adversely affect your own health + life (otherwise, I would've gotten merc'd very early on). Lots of Super Mario World vibes in terms of style and gameplay. A highly enjoyable arcade-y game, and perfect for a jam.
