I was confused on what I needed to do till I looked at the tips! if I played the game right, I am thinking the game lacks a goal, if it's really infinite then maybe more variety in mechanics would have been appreciated. I feel confused playing the game, I ate some pizza and this one fish lookin thing and that was about it and I rested on the bed. The look of the game is awesome, I think if you can just get some clear goal and some good variation of mechanics then you might have a really great thing going there. I liked the house design and it has a lot of space for tons of variety, eitherway good work! Your hard work is appreciated!
I really liked the interior design of the building and using the staircase, made the game feel very immersive. Some areas were poor lit. The animations were a bit janky sometimes and the biggest problem for me was the lack of a tutorial and a main goal. There were some pizza slices(?) that spawned in around the building and I ate them, nothing significant seemed to happen afterwards. The leaderboard actually being real and global is very cool.
Game looks great, but I had no idea what I was doing, even after reading the itch page description. It feels like a game that was not playtested. Feels like it's not far from being something interesting, keep it up!
This was a pretty neat game! I'm especially fond of the cel-shaded 3D graphics and character designs. I think some sort of extra visual indicator of the player's hunger could be a nice quality of life feature for a game like this.
Nice work!
Similar to others I think a tutorial would help. Having the controls listed on the itch page was the only reason I could do anything. However the environment was so dark it was hard to navigate. When I could see things everything looked really cool! I might have run into a bug. I found a neighbor, but they were frozen upright, and I couldn’t eat them.
Hi and thanks for testing,
If you are using the web version and all is dark at start, it may be a render problem we have noticed on some computers (low end ?).
Try to download the native version for your platform, it should solve that.
I loved the look of the game! I do think a small tutorial or quick explanation at the start would help understand how the game works, especially for first-time players.
yes, I was hard to understand at the beginning what I need to do. But else cool game, very cool shading especially and as usual the audio.
The music gave me NOLF 2 Vibes
I really like the animations and design, but (as stated by other comments) I was quite confused as to what to do. I think a tutorial level would help as I was mostly doing things by trial and error.
I liked the game's 3D art style!
I got confused as to what's the game main objective. Once i consumed most of the food (i think), another food appeared with glasses and i wasnt sure what to do since for some reason i couldn't consume him.
By the way, my first impression to the game cover was Megumi's hand gestures to summon his divine dogs!
I don't understand what I should do ? Was there a secret to find? But I like the camera's point of view !
