I enjoyed that, though I'm not really sure how either chapter ended. In one, I hid in the cellar and then it cut to black with screaming. In the second, I agreed to Simon Says, lost track of the ball, picked up a book and it cut to black with screaming. Now, Ashley is famously the Scream Capital of the Midwest, so I'm sure everything's fine, yet...

I suspect I've seen a lot of the visual assets before, but I can't complain as you really made them work for you. Audio design was nicely eerie. Reminded me a little of Killer Frequency, with strange goings on around town - all the while we focus on a central location (Hays police office).

If you folks decide to do more with the game, I'm sure we'll be delighted to see more at the Fixed Camera Appreciation Society!

Okay, that was incredible. The story and concept and mystery are all so cool. I really hope you continue this because I want to know what happens. The presentation for the cutscenes was great but the gameplay itself was only okay, just walking around soaking in the atmosphere and trying to figure out what you can interact with. The atmosphere was great though, so that hardly matters. Are there different endings to each scenario? I followed the Simon Says in Chapter 2 but I got jumped by a skeleton before I even saw what the second prompt was. I'm definitely going to play this one again to see what I missed. Again, awesome.

Thank you so much for playing and for your support! 😊 Yes, both chapters have different endings, and we're currently working on the missing ones. Unfortunately, due to the tight time constraints of the game jam — and the fact that it was basically just the two of us handling everything — we ran out of time to complete all the chapters. But we're excited to keep developing and improving the experience! 🚀
