This was a cool trivia game, good job!
I agree with the comment below, being able to skip text would be so useful.
Graphics and sounds are very cool!
The jam question is wrong or smth? I think brackeys 2025.2 starts later than GMTK. Lost 2 lifes on that.
Great job tho!
I'm stupid idk how I put GMTK as later than Brackey's aaaa! I just checked now and you're right I have no idea how I messed that up. Sorry about the wrong question
DONT WORRY MAN I JUST LOOK IT UP ON THE INTERNET YOU KNOW
I also didn't know the second smallest planet
Dilly Dally be cool
Yay I finally managed to start to work.
The visuals and the arts definitely brings to mind Undertale immediately. The mechanics are also quite creative.
This may also be a small thing but I think it's important to point out for a game with a lot of texts like yours. For some reason, if I press Space after I click a dialogue choice, but before the line of text finishes displaying, I could skip it, but just for that line. No other lines can be skipped. This is mostly fine for such a small game.
However, I think the ability to finishes text scrolling immediately and being able to skip them (especially if you expect players to re-reading a large chunk of them often) is a very crucial option for a narrative based game, so I hope you would implement it fully in the future.
All my homies love Dilly Dally. Also cool game! Couldnt get past the boss fight tho cuz of skill issue
Someone pointed out that the boss fight might be too hard for computer monitors with higher Hz (an error on my end). If you play with a lower frame rate (60-80Hz) it’ll be more like how I originally intended :)
Dilly Dally is really fun to talk to, fun entry!
You're right dilly dally, I sure was distracted by the looking up of anwsers on my other screen! Nice undertale inspired ( i assume ) game. Very fun.
I adore games I can learn things from, and Dilly Dally is such a charming little guy! :) I really thought that after the quiz that would be it, very pleasantly surprised! Well done on your first game jam submission
So relatable. Good job with the character design, I can see the undertale inspiration. I noticed the falling [distraction] lines aren't framerate independent, I have a 180Hz monitor and they were spinning super fast, had to drop to 60Hz to get past that section.
A couple people have said the distractions move too fast. I think I should have put them under a physics process(delta) to solve it? My computer works on a lower frame rate so I must have overlooked that part.
I’ll keep that in mind for future projects. Thanks :)
Dilly is a cool character, id hang with him. Great job!
Hers ours if your interested.

Nice little story game, pretty neat! Looks great but the dialogue appears a little slow.
simple but cool game. the boss fight feels near impossible tho
it was kinda confusing at the beginning , but it was fun
Fun game. Feel like I'm being directly called out because I'm playing this instead of doing real work.haha
Loved Dilly Dally!!
simple game but i think i'll play this instead of doing productive work. anyways dilly dally now lives in my mind rent free
This is such a silly game, I love it. Dilly Dally makes me smile just looking at him! Love this interpretation of the theme, and the dialogue is very fun, too.
