Great first game ! It's nice to see more people trying to make games, the gameplay was really great, all thought I think my screen is not big enough because I couldn't see all the level. But great job for your first time !
The idea was genius. You made a nice platformer for such little time. Although there was a lot of visual clutter, but still you used some amazing assets. Nice work and keep developing.
It's a very nice idea, but I'd love to see it polished a bit more. Definitely would love to see some checkpoints, dying late in the game makes it hard to want to go back.
Aside from that, I am curious what would you do with the game *after* the start button, if you had more time (no jam limitations) :p
perhaps, collecting chapter/level name letters? sounds interesting to me :D
Well done, definitely could be improved by some coyote timing for jumping. Well done!
