nice game, felt the going up part was quite awkward as the player can not see that the top of the screen has a hole at first, some of the falling was also a bit fast but overall a really good game.

I appreciate the feedback. For some reason subtitles never crossed my mind even though I had a script written down. Congrats on reaching getting to any of the endings.

I don't know what endings you reached but given how far you likely got, following should be useful to reach endings

1. Being wrong on floor 4

2. There is an ending for buying on the building on floor 1. In order to achieve this you need to avoid bankrupting the casino. You'll want to have negative lives to spawn on floor 6, if you take the pot of gold (the casino's money) before enter you should be able to bet 10x your current money and although you die the casino will obtain everything you own. Once you have over a million go to floor 1 and buy the building.

3.  There is one for bankrupting the casino

4. There is one for entering the house not as 104

5. There is an ending for solving the main puzzle which requires solving floor 4 and the real floor 6. For the floor 6 u don't need to memorize the answer as when you get the code you can type in it the top left and just copy it so you can then paste it when u get to the floor.

And the last 2 endings is by solving floor 10 when having last seen floor 2 instead of floor 11 and solving floor 3 when having last see floor 11 instead of floor 2 (which I didn't fully realize until I tested it but is already done at that point).

don't be sorry for making a game. I only mentioned it in (the unlikely) case you were unaware

fun game, I like the concept with the timer and how it is pivotal to the gameplay itself. Can't really think of much feedback to give. game seems good.

fun wee game, might be worth noting that the player can just indefinitely go out of bounds to avoid the enemy. other than that minor part there isn't really much feedback I can think to give.

I like the idea of gravity flipping (So much so that I've experimented with it quite a bit before), I'd be careful with forced deaths (i.e. take level 2 for example if the player sees they will need to flip in a bit so instead of jumping they flip gravity, they are kind of guaranteed (or very likely) to die for something they did not know (that there was death above them). It isn't that bad for this, since it is right at the start and the levels are short but if you continue with the idea, I would be mindful of that. Whilst I understand the reason for the limited amount of flips is because of the theme, Where to use the flips felt very trivial and wasn't really puzzling to where it didn't seem like the limited flips achieved much but just prevented the player from messing about. I'm not suggesting the game needs to be puzzling for that mechanic of gravity flipping, it doesn't However if a counter only achieves limiting the player arbitrarily, then it doesn't feel great. I know this is a long enough comment and probably feels quite negative (is not my goal) but I feel like this feedback could be useful.

fun game, at first I didn't how the show worked for first 2 items but when did figure it out it didn't seem like there was much value as the card just goes away after you use money on it. It also didn't feel like there was much strategy to the game and more so just felt like you were at the whim of the cards you got. I also didn't until quite a bit that you could draw a card

I like the idea but the game just feels tedious, especially since you have to redo the tutorial each time you fail. it also doesn't seem like you have enough time to move  bombs to the water and then the shute whilst trying to put any amount of stoppage of the middle bomb without getting Ko'd by another bomb

fun game, would be nice if your excess points carried over or if there were some reward for it as it feels nice getting a big number but not as nice then if it was at the end and kind of wasted especially since the blocks would have stayed there for the next round.  after the first game the first few waves feels a bit slow to where I Was just placing blocks where ever and Didn't even realize until after that I passed where I previously died.

nice game, interesting that the price reset after each section, it does make it so you have to grind a lot more if you only think to use the shop stuff when you get to the high valued heater.  Atleast beating it the 2nd time is much easier since the microwave power don't reset, there also doesn't seem to be much point in using the +1min/15sec autoclicker. that being said a decent bit of fun with this and artwork/audio was nice

I tried the dash + normal jump previously but it didn't let me dash again in air (altho I feel like it might have the 1st time or maybe I was misremembering) so I disregarded that as a way to get past the gap, I did go back into it and see that it worked.

interesting idea,  would be nice if you could buy more than 1 item in the shop or choose between the 3 after seeing them. The gameplay doesn't feel all that engaging after a while. I'm not sure why but whenever I lost, the last thing I saw was a 6 which made me think I rolled a 6 (I'm guessing I rolled a 1). might be worth having the 1 on screen for half a second before the player is declared to have lost.

the art/audio were great. I like that the timer is incorporated into the game however for example having to wait for 10 seconds after 1 of the checkpoints didn't feel great. I probably would mess about and speedrun it a bit if not for the seemingly mandatory 10 second wait (it might technically be possible to bypass but only way I see relies too much on walljumping on a wall you can't see) There is also a tech that I presume is unintentional but still felt cool where you could gain alot of height by dashing + wall jumping.

I'm glad you think my ms paint looks good but I'd be quite surprise If I end up in the top 1k in any category. I did see your dvd logo thing you did, if you end up making a game feel free to reply to my message here as I would be interested to know what you end up cooking.

very thematic. quite fun whilst remaining simple to understand. bar the audio being quite loud I can't really think of any useful feedback. It seemed to have done everything quite well

you have a nice system but the game just feels very tedious atm

nice puzzles, there were a few things that got me, in the level that is in the first screenshot(I wasn't keeping track of number) I Thought the purple block that if I pressed down that I Would fall off. I didn't realize it would stop me. I overcomplicated the last puzzle also because I got confused with the perspective. but was still a good game

nice puzzles but I was unable to know what I was meant to do next after the maths section. I Was given 2 letters from 2 of the problems but nothing opened up and everything I could do seemed like they were already solved

unfortunate that you were unable to complete the game, did you have much of an idea for what you wanted to make?

don't be sorry, whilst it wasn't something I particularly enjoyed, you still done a good job making a game. I'm guessing you made the platforms go back when you aren't on it to avoid the player being stuck, whilst there may have been better ways to fix the issue, the fact you saw the issue and fixed it is great . If my feedback helped you want to continue the project then that's great to hear.

This is a bit of a long comment but I feel like the feedback could hopefully be useful. I will start with saying I liked the art. the music was a bit too loud and a audio slider would have been nice (but even just lowering the volume by in general would have been nice (not that big of a deal). The countdown seems very loose but also sort of detrimental to the game itself, like if it changes mid jump near spikes you just die but also for one of the sections after a checkpoint each time you die you just have to wait a prolonged period of time to turn into the negative mode just so you can be small which makes dying just feel too punishing. I also got tripped up a bit with the moving platforms due to a combination of 2(ish) reasons.

1. the player not keeping the velocity of the platform.

2. a mix of the fact the platform moves back when you aren't on it and the background making it so you don't really immediately tell it is moving backwards.

I was at the front of the platform at the first part and was very confused how to go further as the game just made me think the platform just goes backwards from there.

hopefully this feedback is of some use and sorry if it comes across as overly negative, that is not my intention.

interesting game, the art/music was quite nice. it didn't feel like there was all that much skill to the game and it felt kind of weird that you had to manually click draw card but was fun for a quick few games

fun game, I tried speedrunning it, managed to get 48 secs remaining could be optimized especially since there is a (harmless) glitch that allows you to infinitely jump

interesting idea, there seemed to be a bit excessive how many  items came out as it caused a bit of lag whenever you were to try and pick up items at the bottom and the lid also disappeared twice when I tried to put it on. the atmosphere was nice

I'm glad you think so

Yeh Some people seemed to struggle with the puzzle whilst others didn't, and it was something I was worried about however I couldn't really think of any other puzzles where the hint 1+1=11 would work whilst without becoming trivial and it being something to do with the number 10. I guess in a sense the target audience is programmerish since most people in gamejams end up being programmers but after the first puzzle the programmeriness of the first puzzle isn't really there

I unfortunately don't, I might make something after the jam, I'm not sure. but if you hover over of click this link and look at the url you an see how to solve the first puzzle  this (doing this way to avoid spoilers for anyone reading this). If you can't click the link or see it just feel free to dm me on discord (patrickbutsmart) or something, idk

fun game, got confused on how closest was being measured but is a nice wee simple game

I'm glad to hear you think so

the art and audio were nice, however it occured quite a few times on the last levels where (typically due to scare from frog) near the end of level a sheep would go out of bounds (did also happen once where due to odd hitbox or something the player character went oob). The click to move also didn't feel great

simple but fun game, artwork and audio was quite nice. I  was streaming it in the stream you mentioned it to me at around about the 3 hour 30 mark, I say that as my brain isn't working enough to give great written feedback.

glad to hear you think so. I was a bit worry if people would notice how it fits the theme as whether it depended heavily on how well executed it was

Cool game, pls update leaderboard

I'm glad to hear you think so

nice game, took me a while to realize it was counting down to launch. would have been nice if you got to see the launch or something when/if you win, the stacking game seemed a bit unreasonable given the spinning nature of it unless you hugged to one of the walls at which point it became pretty much trivial but there was a glitch where sometimes the blocks would glitch out a bit then tumble. I am not sure If I was missing something but there didn't appear to be much use for pressing the pause button on the timer.  The art was quite nice

I'm glad you found it fun. the reason the jetpack doesn't carry over lives is because of the overarching puzzle of the game

I like the concept and the audio is quite nice. I also like the vibes of the game being a retro game and being able to reset the cart. the do nothing strat is unfortunately OP. but bar that there is some potential if you can figure out how to reward the player for doing stuff.

this was a fun wee game, would have been nice if there was some audio or something but the artwork was great. I was concerned at one point that this would take forever as I was close to having all upgrades done but there was still a large number left to go but ended up not taking all that long. I like how you incorporated the theme into the narrative and narrative into the game.

nice game,  it is fun but it gets boring during to repetitiveness after a while.  for majority of my first run I didn't know you could go under and just presumed it was either death or 0 points. once I found out it made the 2nd run much easier (still only ended with a score of about 60k). I like the simplistic artwork/audio. it feels like it fits well with the simplicity of the gameplay
