How does your game fit the theme?
Even though your ship is a barely functioning rustbucket, you would never replace it. Some tough love with a spanner and it will just get started!
Though you may have to reapply said tough love regularly.

The fixing part confused me at first, but once we figured it out, it was actually pretty cool—though it was hard to fix the whole ship while flying and dealing with enemies. I liked the idea of shooting while fixing the ship, but I felt like there were too many enemies for just one ship. Maybe having two ships, or even some power-ups to help cover us while fixing, would make it even better. Overall, though, I thought the game was super creative and fun, and I actually enjoyed that we had to fix the ship before playing.
cool game,love the art style
if u can rate my game too:)
This is super super cool I swear! Very well designed having you actually do the minigames in a controlled space before actually launching. I'd only wish for errors to happen more often actually and also had different effects on your ship, like slowing attack speed or movement, stuff like that, you could even get a temporary boost over what's normal after fixing an error! I had a blast, would love to see this idea grow :>
Wow had so much fun with this mechanic! ✨
really smart premise of fixing a space ship while driving it I feel like you already got the core gameplay loop already, I'd suggest adding powerup for your ship, besides the obvious polish work, that's really it, I think y'all have a really special game here. As a fellow newbie, job well done guys! 🎉
Great job on creating a multitasking shmup, it was a real refresher! Very cool idea, great realisation, especially I liked how you integrated your repair ship tutorial into starting the game. Great job overall!
I liked this game :)
I really like to play shmups, though, I haven’t touched 1 in some time so I like that I found 1 this game jam!
The mechanics of repairing the ship in the middle of the flight is chaotic and fun, it felt like driving the ship a little bit haha
About the song, it was a good pick, it really fits the mood, but the sfx, despite I lowered the master volume, those were too loud, so would be good if those were also lowered a bit, it wasn’t annoying but just to have in the same range of volume.
The gameplay also was fun, I liked the shot pattern and the last boss is good, more because you are fixing the ship it adds difficulty to it.
The UI was good and everything feels good together, I can’t think more of feedback than this for how short the game was, but it was a fun short experience for me. :D
(And grats on finishing your 1st game jam! I also did a shmup in my 1st jam haha)
The game concept is really really cool honestly! I think that the actual shmup part was unfair, I found myself super ultra trapped in undodgeable situations even if i wasn't focusing on fixing stuff, but other than that and that it's short (not really a problem) then great game! I've always liked the multitasking game concept!
ooh really fun, and managing the shmup while fixing the components is some nice multitasking without becoming too challenging, unless you leave things broken for too long of course. Maybe there could be a more obvious signifier when one of the components gets broken. There are some odd technical issues though - the game froze my entire browser on opening, and after a while of playing all the sounds started glitching and getting out of sync.
Thank you for playing and providing feedback. Yeah I considered doing a vocal "component has broken" but settled on just an explosion instead. Even though I also noticed I would miss it while fixated on the shmup part.
Technical difficulties has unfortunately been a plague all throughout the jam. Hopefully after the jam I can release a hotfix patch.
This game was quite difficult, but I do like the idea of having to fix your ship during the game. Usually shooters are just get an upgrade and keep shooting, but this one you have to also manage ur ship properly. Great work!
I loved the idea of a space shooter with minigames to repair the ship. The difficulty is really high for me, but I had a great time playing it!
Excellent game, I honestly have nothing to criticise about it
Just played it, really loved how the game starts with how you have to start the engine of the ship in order to start flying also the idle animation of the ship looks smooth, and if im not mistaken the background music used in this game is from 1-2-3-4 player game, overall great game.
Thanks for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it. The music is from Juhani Junkala (also known as SubspaceAudio on opengameart)
Really fun game and love the managing multiple things part, I feel this game would work really well on the wii U!
Fun game! Bullets could be a slightly brighter color, they were blending in with the background a lot. But if that was intentional it definitely made the game harder! Good job!
It was definitely not intentional, thanks for pointing it out I really don't have a good eye for such things.
That was a lot of fun! It was intense trying to keep an eye on my ship state while dodging all those bullets. A really fun twist.
