Cool runner type game. I find main character sprite very cute. Sadly I also had issues with seeing whole screen even when fullscreen, though things like that happen often in jams when using web build. Good work!

How does your game fit the theme?
My game is all about the theme “Just Get Started.” The moment you jump in, you keep moving forward without stopping. Every move you make opens up a new part of the world, There’s no finish line what matters is that you began, and the real fun is in the endless journey.

The idea is cool and fun, but implementation is lacking , others already pointed out problems with the grappling hook, it feels redundant and hard to pull off in this version of the game. The game has a strong idea and foundation, you just need to figure out the technical side of the problem. Overall, great concept, more polishing and more variety will create a really solid game.
cool game, cool art well the music feel a little sad tho... wat nvm music in my game is wired too . umm i still dont know how to swing like in photos the double jump make the game a little too easy and coyote time is actually a little too long as well other then that the game and ui is pretty smooth and cool i know its procedurally generated but the some time the platforms are out of screen that kinda make it harder to know when to jump since you can not see where the platform is ending
Other people have already talked about the grappling hook, so it feels redundant to say anything about that. Overall it's still an enjoyable game.
Trying to catch the grapple points with the mouse didn't work very well. You may want to have an area that when you are within and you click the grapple button it autoconnects, then when you click again it breaks. And have the length be determined by how close you were when you connected.
Nice! The trick sections really got me you know, where you roll where you should fall :)
Edit: I think it was a resolution issue, and not intended?
Nice game idea. I liked the grappling hook, but I never really did need to use it. God job.
Its a really great concept but it really needs some polish, the camera and the gameplay are the main problems right now, keep working on it tho, it has potential
and if you have the time give mine a try as well :)
It reminds me of a game that I played on Friv when I was little. It is a good start but it needs some bug fixes, I wasn't able to see the floor sometimes and the grapling mechanic can be better. Good job!
It's not bad but it really needs some polish. The grappling mechanic would be a good idea but it feels wonky to use and you have to aim exactly to where the grapple thingy would be, it would be better if it was either automatic or the hitbox of the grapple was at least bigger!
The resolution was also kinda weird but aside from that it wasn't bad :>
It took me a whiiile to realize i could grapple on these.. In itself it's not that bad, but there's room for improvement!
Unfortunately didn't enjoy the game much, I ran into multiple issues such as the grappling hook mechanic kind of teleports me sometimes and the game's resolution wasn't matching my 2k monitor.
There's a lot more I can say and I feel like most of the critism I have has already been mentioned by other comments, so I'll leave it at that for now. Good try guys!
nice idea, but the grappling seems a bit pointless, I was able to go really far without using it at all, and when I did try to use it, it messed up my movement more than it helped
If you intend to work on this game further, I would suggest making the grappling point a platform or just something bigger. I find it hard to click on it with a mouse when moving at high speed. Also, make the length of the grappling variable, so that the player doesn't just snap into place when they land the grappling. Not only does it feel clunky, but it also cancels out their momentum. If you have time, maybe check out rusted moss. Although I haven't played it, that game's grappling mechanic looks really good.
Nice game and grappling hook mechanic:)
The grappling hooks sometimes seemed unecessary, so maybe could have been good for the gaps in the ground to be bigger in order to need to use them!
The game seemed out of frame for me but could be a problem on my end
Good job:)
I think this is a first endless runner I see in this jam :p I like the idea of grapling hooks, but it felt badly implemented… It needed more rotational force, and maybe could have been used to speed the player up? And also if you have grapling hooks you could have made some chain reactions as I only saw them in place of a “big” jump… Anyway, the main characther is super cute and the rolling sound effect fits incredibly well. But sometimes I could just drop onto the air between some of the platforms, which felt weird other than that this is a solid game that I would play again to pass some time…
nice chill game! the visuals are great and the audio fits really well, good job!
