I was recommended this game and it is very good. I liked the variety in viruses and the idea that you could sustain overclock every turn by getting the collectables was very fun to me. The graphics are great and serve their purpose well, and the harder parts of the game are really rewarding to beat.
I think it is very reminiscent of old flash games like "This is the only level," where the repeats scale the complexity and difficulty. Though I think these games succeed through their intentional design and scaling, whereas the randomly placed towers, while cool in theory, often led to very easy paths to take in the levels. Additionally, I think the first rounds of each few levels starts to feel very stale once you've played a map or two especially with the length of 20 rounds. I think starting the player with a bit more challenge over a shorter period will make the gameplay more snappy and replayable.
