I really like the Oriole sprites and how they bob with the gravity when tapping the arrow key as well as having to navigated around to get to the worms.
I think I would have preferred some more wasps or other obstacles, like forcing the bird to jump over the pipes instead of being able to walk past them. It felt pretty easy to maneuver around and avoid damage.
Pressing start in the middle of a game will reset it, I am not sure if that is intended.
I really like this game a lot. I think the idea is simple and fun and the physics of the player are weird and a little hard to control but that's what makes it fun. Having the pots add variety to where the worms can spawn is also nice.
I like that the name correlates to the gameplay. I'm not sure if the pipes are supposed to have collision or not? I like the design of the worm. I wish that it was displayed on the main menu with a larger size to appreciate the art work. Good color composition.
The art style is very pretty and i love the design. The bees hitboxes seemed to be larger than what the bees are which made me struggle a bit. The addition of bouncing and the feel of gravity was a great detail. Great job!
As a Pro Early Bird player. (I made it to 50) I have a couple things to go over. The only bug I found is that you can continue to click the start button even if you are in the middle of a game causing it to reset. The only things I would do is maybe tweak the gravity and movement engine; just cause right now it feels a bit clunky. I would also have it so the wasps can come in at different speeds instead of just a steady speed. Other than those nitpicks Great Game!
It was a very interesting concept and I loved the sprites. Adding enemy variety or different types of worms would have helped gameplay a little bit more but overall I enjoyed it!
