I love the art, super well done!
Also I think its such a great idea that you have to create your spells yourself by combining runes. Thats such a cool idea! I think you can make a great game with that. Keep going!
Thanks so much for playing, glad ypu enjoyed the game! We might give a larger project a go at some point, when we have more experience.
The art is gorgeous! The spells are really cool, but I struggled using them effectively. However, I'm not good at using mouse and keyboard so that might just be me. Mixing glyphs to cast spells makes for a great puzzle adventure hybrid.
Thanks a ton for the kind words! Really glad you enjoyed it, wish we had time to implement controller movement as well.
The game has a great idea and I liked the art style. I think you should explore this concept further experimenting with levels and puzzles and maybe some other spells. Well done!
We're definitely considering exploring that in the future, when we're more skilled, lol. Thanks so much for playing, glad you enjoyed it!
The game was fun, the idea was creative and the level was well built
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it!
Trial of Glyphs is a pretty good game! I really enjoyed the creativity with the magic system and the fact that you can change spells, forcing you to strategize with the freeze, fire, and teleport components. It took me a bit to figure things out, but after about 15 minutes, I was able to finish it. At first, I kept trying to teleport onto the moving platform — bad idea — but then I realized I needed to freeze it, go backwards, and teleport through the two corridors early on to learn how to freeze the towers. I also wasn’t sure about using fire on them until later, which made for a fun learning curve.
Overall, it’s well done, with solid progression and a design that feels like it could easily be expanded into something bigger. Great job!
Thanks a ton for the kind words, we're really glad you enjoyed it!!
Fun fact, you can also unfreeze the platforms with fire once you're on them!
oh thats neat! love that idea, i would also suggest making the magic swap a lot easier it was difficult mechanic to lock in maybe just like a combo for Ctrl+1-3 for Fire/Ice/Teleport? otherwise love the concept of "remembering the spell combos" like a true wizard!
Great game with a very good concept ! It make me whant to try it with more glyph and spells !
Thank you so much, so happy you liked it!
Great game! :) Creating spells by combining runes is a good concept! But I think it might be annoying to press R every time combining skill.
Thabk you for the feedback and glad you enjoyed the game! Do you have any suggestioms on that point,? Would love to get your opinion. :)
Combining the runes to make spells is a nice concept. I got a C but I enjoyed it a lot!
Thank you for playing, we're really glad you enjoyed it!
I got a C grade. 10/10 for grade-based nostalgia. I think you should make it so you can't freeze a platform you're standing on, it made it difficult to shoot the ice spell at the tower things.
That's technically implemented, but it doesn't work the best, lol. We ran out of time unfortunately. Still really glad you enjoyed the game, thanks so much for playing!
It took me a bit to figure out the controls, but it is a fun game
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed it!
Could use a bit more polish, but very fun concept!
We ran out of time unfortunately. Really glad you enjoyed the game, thank you for playing!
