Cool game! The upgrade system is super interesting. I think that aminor improvement here you could make is to not be instakilled by bigger enemies haha.

Yes, the study of slimes can be very dangerous! The game's basically over at the last upgrade so it doesn't matter too much, but the two choices were pretty lopsided: who needs to worry about attack speed when you're oneshotting everything anyways? Good game!

With more animations, i can definitely see this becoming a great game. Nice work!

Very cool, reminded me of sport a little how you could choose your evolution routes, I knew I would end up eating the camera man but I like the narration and how the story unfolds.

Movement can get a bit slow which would be another cool path for you to follow in regards to upgrades.

Nice work on the game.

I looooooved the visual upgrades. Really really great art.

Fun game! I wish player/bot movement was a bit faster or there was some sort of sprint button?

Developer

Yeah, if we'd had more time I think exploring different movement options would be up there. Thanks for playing!

Fun game.  I liked how the slime's look changed based on what upgrades you took.

Developer

Thanks for playing! It did take a bit of doing since I'm not an experienced artist but it was worth it.

Part of my inspiration was definitely the original Fishy! by XGen back in the day. Thanks for playing!

That's my favorite part too, thanks for playing!

I really like the interpretation of the theme where consumption allows for evolution. The "framing" of it being a documentary of the slime is charming too. The movement is a bit slow but I understand it's to force movement to be more methodical and to make upgrades feel more meaningful. Great job!

Developer

Thank you, I appreciate the kind words! That's fair feedback, the stage was smaller in earlier iterations.
