The art is nice, but the gameplay itself could use some work. I could hit enemies a million times and they still wouldn't die, so there was no point in interacting with them. Because of that, I just jumped past them and headed straight to the doors. The boss also just disappeared, which was sad. Good job taking the leap to make your first game (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)

I really like the parallax effect, but unfortunately didn't enjoy the game that much, enemies weren't really a threat or had any attack patterns other than "run into player", I'd suggest looking into games like "hollow knight" for good enemy designs. Good job on getting the basics of platforming and getting the elevators to work, but this game still definitely needs more time to cook.
I have more to say but I'll leave it at that.

I still cannot believe its your first game.. The Art style is super underrated the boss is glitchy tho
The parallax effect is really good. It's a tad easy to skip enemies aha, and not sure if damage is actually delt to enemies without a reaction from them. Good job for first game! Very good art style choice:)

A funny short game, I enjoyed it!
Congratulations on finishing a game for a jam! The gamestate does not seem to reset between the rounds, which allowed me to bruteforce my way though the enemy in the pit that requires doublejump to get out of. However I really liked the parallax background and music you chose for The Soul.

I like the graphics and I love the parallax background. For some reason, I can't fight the boss! He just disappears and I win
