End life plan
ERASURE was built to be experienced as a web game. However, for purposes of preservation I will upload a standalone Windows version after the voting period has passed. This version will have additional polish and its ending will work in a similar manner to the web version, although technically a bit different (I have already planned for this)
Transparency note
Everything was done within the time frame of the jam, aside from the external assets. No AI was used in the making of this game.

i love the worldbuilding and story of this game. i didn’t realise it at first, but it’s true that the issues with game preservation, and how a game is designed to be erased, fits perfectly with the plot. great job! :D

Really like the music! NekromancerX did a fantastic job. Lovely touch making the itch background the same color as the faded screen. Really good story, too.

That’s so cool - we took a very similar approach with our entries! That’s fun :-) I love the story you’re telling and the message you’re spreading. Your character models are such a nice stylistic touch and knowing all your work is your own and not a product of AI is also a big plus. Big, big fan of this! Great work!
Thanks, really glad you liked it! The character models aren’t truly mine (they’re from an asset pack), but I’m glad I could bring them to life in a way that feels organic to the story I wanted to tell

Another game that I am thoroughly surprised does not have more ratings. I got sucked into the story so fast and honestly held my breath till the end. The 4th wall break of realizing that I am the presence was so cool and unlike any other submission. I would love so much to see a sort of prequel or just any more world building. I barely knew the world but I am not ready to let it go. Insanely good game! I hope it gets rated very high. Also, if you have some time, let me know what you think of my game. It's on the same line of an interactive fiction type experience. You'll see :)
