Yes - I'm new to game jams!

How does your game fit the theme?
I think it fits the theme as thought the level you have to explore through different obstacles to make it to the end. Also, there are text boxes displayed across the level helping you "get started" on your journey.

Note for Inbound shovel: Thank you for giving me the chance to compete in this game jam. you have helped out a lot with your game dev secrets. And even if I don't win, I had a very fun time competing even if I am only in the running for the beginner's award

Nice job! Great first game. Decent amount of varying elements with platforms, holes, bouncers, etc. Just enough depth on the movement between a jump and dash to give the player that sense of control. Solid work!

Great first step. The art for the player was interesting.

Nice, it always feels good to get the first one out of the way.

Congrats on your first jam! Cool game, found the bounce animation of the jello thing really funny! GJ :)

Congrats on your first jam game!

I was really excited as yours is the first Godot made game to feature gamepad support!

The game is very, very short so I'm going to rate it as being a proof-of-concept for a larger game.

It has some good potential and I do hope you continue your dev journey with it.

Congratulations on finishing your first game jam game, especially as a solo. I liked the dash mechanic and the bouncing slime, solid ideas for a platformer. Good luck with your future projects.

Great Start! Not bad for a first time game jam.

It is a very good start for a platformer, but saddly too short for me. I was so sad to see the level end so quick ! But i enjoyed my little journey ! maybe he camera delay is a bit too much, feel floaty... But good game well done !

Short but you have a good little idea brewing!
would love to see more in the future!
