How does your game fit the theme?
It's not a super tight fit, but, the game fits the "Just Get Started" theme by throwing players into action, setting off a chaotic chain of tasks that escalate as soon as they start their service day :)

Super nice, I wish the art was a bit less crusty, but it's super great! As you've said, the theming isn't the best but it's still good!

I found some really great music for the game that created a peaceful vibe while cooking different dishes.

The visuals and art are very well done and the gameplay is fun and smooth also! The amount of recipes increased rapidly but it was nice that the recipe book was readily available to refresh my memory. It was also fun to try and figure out recipes without it by using intuition. My one feedback though is that if you drag an item off the checkerboard area, it can be a bit buggy and either disappear or just get stuck. Other than that, a very fun game!

fun: really fun, trying to search the recipe book for the recipe you want, amazing, best part when you figure it out without the recipe book, feels like a professional chef
Presentation: Really like the art style, the sound design was amazing as well. Did you draw it, or were they assets?
creativity: great idea, you made a lot of recipes, did you program every recipe, or was there an algorithm for it?

For the presentation question: all assets! There are a few of them that I've drawn myself, but most of them are from a food pack haha :)
For the creativity question: I programmed them! Basically, I did a list of objects for ingredients and a list of possible combinations made from those. For each level, we randomize a few from that list!
This is nice game where just creat food , memorizing the recipes took me some time. The art is quite cute . I kinda hope for more visuals. Would like to give mine a try ?
that's really a great game, amazing job!! i really enjoyed the font and the visuals of the game so far. it was full of recipes which io liked a lot but progression was too fast and didn't give me timeto memorize everything. other than this little complain everything felt awesome!!
This game is absolutely PEAK. The gameplay is really fun and intuitive, as I found myself quickly memorizing the base recipies. The artstyle is really fun, and the music is absolutely fire. I would pay good money for a full sized version of this on Steam. Keep up the good work!

Good game! It reminds me of one of my old jam submissions even though yours feel much more polished and feel nicer to play haha.
If I can have a little nitpick though, it's that for me the moving checkerboard background feels really nauseating and make my head spin, especially when it's the smaller size. I don't know if it's only me, but it would be nice to have a accessibility option for this in a more full-fledged game.
Otherwise good job! I'm also really impressed with the way you done the tutorials in the beginning, with the little clips and everything, I regret not taking the proper time to do it in my own entry.

Got 8602! The gameplay loop is super addicting despite being really simple. I did runt into bug tho, food will disappear if i put it just outside the order zone. Other than that, reaally fun game! Great job!

supe fun game!! the idea is good, i like that it keeps increasing the recipes and the music really fits well
maybe i would add some icons in the recipe book so that it is easier to search and memorize

Nice game, made me think of an infinite craft game in a kitchen. The tutorial at the start was really helpful have not seen many games include that well done! One thing, I don't know if it is intentional but I always have all recipes available even of the ones that I have not made yet

In terms of recipes, you should have access to all recipes that you are able to craft at any given moment (the idea was to be like, fairly easy for the initial moment and more overwhelming in the end, to give that tense sensation!).
I might be bad at games, but this one introduced me to a new genre that I'd never seen before! Had a lot of fun, although I was getting soooo stressed. Wonderful music too! And the tutorial at the start was so nice!

This game is very professionally made, the art is amazing and the UI is very intuitive! It reminded me of 'keeptalkingandnobodyexplodes' except i had to be the one to keep referencing the guidebook while also doing the work. The recipes were fun, and when i thought i had a handle on what to expect for one recipe, i realised i was off and then things got chaotic. Final score of 1372! would definitely play again.
