Yes - I'm new to game jams!

How does your game fit the theme?
i took the theme "Just Get Started" and got an idea of a platformer where reSTARTING persisted your velocity and the state of the level.

One of the most creative games in the jam. The trials are really fun and the way the levels are designed to teach a new mechanic are ver intelligent. Everything is clear and readable as it should be. Really fun and good game.

Awesome game! The best platformer from the jam I’ve played so far! If this is your first game, I’m dying to know what you’ll make in the future! Incredible music, art and level design.

I love the "Restart" button being actually part of the game, as well as how every new mechanic is introduced through incredibly well-designed levels. The game is really enjoyable to play, and I think it's the best one I've played during this game jam! You really did a great job!

Unique timing mechanic, awesome tutorialization & introduction of new mechanics, super cute and simple yet effective art. Love the puzzles, especially when it makes you retrace your steps, but the path is different (1-1, 1-2, etc.)

A nitpick, and just a me thing: on 1-7, I wasn’t totally paying attention to what changed in the level when I got the yellow key top-right, and didn’t notice the spike disappearing. And since there’s a lot of red spikes, I still didn’t notice the flat surface upon inspecting the level after being confused for a while lol. Maybe a highlight for that like a different surface color, tho that might be a bit hand-holdy, not sure :D

What can I say, I love me a good precision platformer! You should release this on steam. In this state even, it’s perfect! Would be nice with more levels and expanded mechanics too tho!

Total Retries: 118 Total Deaths: 45 Time: 21:27.033 🙂👍

That was a really cool puzzle platformer with a unique twist on the theme! I really like the idea you came up with and I had fun trying to solve the puzzles. Art and sound were also very strong and I love the speedrun timer feature for the more competitive group of gamers (like me haha)

The only thing is on the level where you have to drop down from high to hit the spring at the bottom, I think it would've been better if you didn't lose visual on your character just so you can see more.

Other than that, great job!
