this was really fun, it was difficult to stop playing. Also a bug occurred that made the game infinite but that made it really fun bc i could create as many loops as i wanted.

Nice game, very fun and relaxing!

That was a very fun and unique concept that was executed very well! It was fun to strategize and come up with the best route to take during each loop to maximize my money! I also really like the random generation of the world, it adds more replayability to it! I can totally see this game becoming larger with more trains, types of tracks, maps, obstacles and more! My only suggestion is to have the tracks be less buttons and make it possible to rotate them instead but it isn't a necessity. Overall, great work!

Developer

These are all great suggestions! I'm planning on taking this concept further after the jam ends and I'm planning on hot fixing the annoying things with the jam like the loop counter

Such a nice game. The artstyle is cute, the sounds and music are fitting and gameplay is fun! I found a couple of bugs here and there, like getting negative loops or trains going one through another, but that didn't affect gameplay in any way. Great job!

Developer

Thank you for the kind words. I'm glad you enjoyed it 😀

Nice games, the gameplay isnt similar but it reminded me of an old game i used to play called tiny rails or something like that (the only thing in common is trains i guess) still it gave that nostalgi feel and i had a lot of fun, congrats

Also if you have the time feel free to checkout my game as well, i would love your feedback :)

I love the presentation with the chill music and how rewarding it feels to have all those coins pop up :)

I remember playing a phone game where it was just like this. I spent hours on it. It's a very fun phone game.  I felt the amount of money I was making was never enough.. I think money can be a bit more giving, that is for sure.

As a fellow train enjoyer I really liked this game ^_^

I encountered a couple of bugs, being that a wagon started going the wrong way around the loop and the counter counting 2 loops for every loop, making it go into the negatives and making the game infinite (which btw was quite enjoyable, if you patch the game after the jam I think it would be nice to see an infinite gamemode where you don't need to worry about the rounds running out and you can just play around and make a big loop).

Also after I was done with my run I messed around for a bit and found out you can still place/remove your selected thing after pressing the start loop button, so you can remove a rail on the loop when the train is running and softlock the game >_<

Great job overall! Would love to revisit the game after some polishing ^_^

Really loved the concept of the game and fits the theme very well i also liked the visuals of the game, my only concern is that it would be easier to when placing a track on another track it will replace rather than going to "remove" and select the track, but overall great job.

liked it a lot. I spent a nice amount of time building the tracks to get a high score. :)

the loop counter seems broken, and sometimes it places tracks when I'm clicking the button to show the carts I can buy

Developer

Thanks I've added that to the list of things too fix! Glad you had fun!

While this is definitely an interesting idea I could spend hours playing, the loops seem to break the game quite a bit, and I don't know if it's intended, but it cacn be frustrating that I can't change the tracks under the train

Developer

Thanks for playing dude!

Yeah making a grided game gets complicated and a few bugs got through because of how I made it! Gonna fix all the bugs after the jam :)

It was so much fun. I felt like I was a kid. Chu Chu Charlie !

It took me a minute to get into it but then the gameplay loop was surprisingly gripping. I'll probably check it out again after the jam when the bugs are fixed.

This was such a good building game! Loved the idea, could be seeing myself playing this for hours, with longer loop limits. Amazing job, the game looks and plays so well, one of my favorites of this jam for sure!

I had to stop myself from playing more... went waaaay over my  self impose time limit for jam games...  I did got one saw to go opposite directions tho (only issue I stumbled into) but other than that, ran super smooth.

Developer

Ah thanks for playing dude in glad you enjoyed it!

I do think the loops is worth exploring after the jam
