Great controls and fluid movement, I like how the game is foddian in it's level design, not it's controls. I suck at it, but it's still great! I'm not sure how well the background music fits here, but nonetheless this is great!

If you're up for it, I'd also really appreciate it if I could get your feedback on my entry!

So fun, the controls are so smooth, the music is so fitting. I also really liked how taking damage works. Great job!

I'm really learning to platform this week xD That was a bit too challenging for the newbie that I am, but the controls felt good enough, and the atmosphere was nice enough that I wanted to push through for a while! Really well done!

Ok, this is amazing. Another one in my favorite list. This is simply perfect. I loved the player animations, the small particles, the sfxs, the leaves, EVERYTHING!! This is 10/10 for me, I'm looking for more games by you!

Such a fun game, the platforming is so fluid! When I first ran into some spikes, I really expected the screen to fade to black, and respawn at a checkpoint - when I fell down, landed on a platform, and immediately got back up to try again, I knew I was going to love this game. The artwork is also phenomenal, especially the cherry tree with the sunset.

I can honestly say that even though it was your first time, you really put in a great effort—and the music was truly beautiful, even after hearing it multiple times. I'd even say it was far better than the Celeste game jam entry.

That said, I think if you had taken things a bit less seriously, it might've turned out even better. But overall, it was a really promising and potential-filled game!

Did it:) Idk why but at the end they said "its so quiet" so maybe the music could turn off or go quieter at that moment, but just a thought!
I like how this game wasn't tooooo punishing for mistakes, I tended to land on platforms that weren't tooo far down, so that was nice

Also the mouvement and the sound of dashing and hitting a wall felt reallly good, very good job

Overall great game, good job!

Dammit , i think you are making a point on the ending

Some birds tweeting could be a good touch, or just any sound change:)

Amazing! The gameplay, visuals, audio, atmosphere and the controls (especially the dash) were all great.

One nitpick though: If you hit the vertical spike wall just right, you'll be stuck in the falling animation and get softlocked.

happened to me twice already, so I can confirm that it's a recurrent bug

This is crazy impressive, especially for a beginner! the art, music and level design are excellent! I would've liked if I could WSAD instead of arrow keys, but it's not a big deal. Great Stuff!

Got where I'm not supposed to be and proud of it. It was a very nice experience, I liked the tiny dialogs about the king

this was probably my favorite game, since platformers are my jam! the game progressed very well and it didn't take a lot of time to learn the character's momentum and the controls. the level design was very good and well thought for a first game jam. the failures and dashes landing right over some platformers is a nice touch.

welcome to the game making world and keep on making more games, this one was really fun!

Great game! The jump controls feel really solid and the character has a very nice weight to them, which is pretty tricky especially for a first timer, keep up the good work!

Super cool! Right up my alley, I love precision platforming. Felt like a mix between Jump King and Celeste, the controls were intuitive and reliable. (Though I would have hoped for another jump button, maybe add the spacebar next time.) Amazing spritework, the game looked great. All in all a really good submission!!

I love this game, highly recommended

Great to play, the art and music is amazing, adding WASD would be a great addition. The level design could be a bit tighter, but that might be my taste.  A great first game that could be a solid foundation for a great game.

Felt quite good to play. Art and sound design was very good as well. Extremely impressive for a first game jam. Only thing I wished for was a key rebinding system because I have a 60% keyboard. All in all great game and good luck with your future projects!

Very fun, very satisfying to get through it. The art and sound design are great :]

Other people have already pointed it out, but the one corner in the first zone not detecting your character landing properly made that section a bit tricky to get through, but the rest of the game was very well designed.

I enjoyed the game and it was a fun challenge! It gave me really strong Spelunky vibes. My only main critique is that I think the controls would be better if it used W/A for left and right movement, space for jump, and shift for dash, just to make it more intuitive for players :) Other than that I thought it was great, good job esp on your first game jam!

Fun premise, with great visual and audio design, which from litte portion of what my unskilled hands allowed me to see it is well executed. I have a minor nitpick, in that I somehow managed to get stuck in falling-while-damaged state after spikes led me to land on a 1 cell crevice, making it a literal corner case, but having reset button would be nice for such instances. Neventheless, game is awesome and congratulations on an outstanding job in your first game jam!
