Yes - I'm new to game jams!

How does your game fit the theme?
My game is a endless runner where you Just Get Started on running and can't stop while the speed keeps going faster and faster. You also learn more about the obstacles so every time you die you need to Just Get Started again from the beginning, and try to beat your best score.

Ooh, I love how simple the controls are. Don't need any super technical skills, just need to be good at timing. Art is also cute, and the name is "eggcellent". Great work on your first game jam!

Interesting take on the endless runner genre. Adding a dash is something I've never seen in a 2d endless runner

Nice infinite runner. Good first game. Could use a bit more forward momentum on a jump, but that may just be my taste. I could see this being a good mobile game.

Love a good endless runner, and I also love a good egg game. Very cute! I enjoyed the airdash the most, but I never got the hang of the slide. Even still, I think the difficulty level was good, and the game was pretty addictive.

After you have dashed in air you can just hold down the space bar to slide when you land. It can be a bit tricky to get the timing right so you can enter the pipes.

Its a really great game with proper instruction and enjoyable mechanics. The game is a quite addictive as the concept is quite good. The finishing of the game is damn good. I really enjoyed your game.

WOW super addicting! love how all movement is handled with one button!
Can't really say much, cause it's so good haha, I like the art, music and SFX, it all fits it and blends well with the gameplay! Eggcelent Job! ✨
