Happy to see someone implement the "incrementally get weaker every round for the same boss fight" as the interpretation of "sacrifice". I very much enjoyed dodging the bullet patterns and hiding behind boxes in the terrain. I only understood on reruns that the shield is not a weapon but gives you maximum health and that if you sacrifice the other two weapons you are forced to use the weaker shield. I feel maybe putting the UI for the shield in a separate area or some text could help distinguish the shield from the other standard weapons. But it was still very fun and I liked the sound design. Good job on the entry!

I love a good boss fight and this one checks a lot of the boxes for me! I really enjoyed figuring out new tricks to beat the boss as quickly as I could in order to get ever closer to beating the angry circle 3 times (e.g. focusing on sword damage, utilising terrain to my advantage).

Three small issues I found while playing. Firstly, I wasn't able to use the shield item (only the sword and bow). Secondly, it seemed as though the health bar was bugged and wouldn't always reflect how much health I actually had left (leading to far earlier deaths than I anticipated). I took these as extra challenges though so not a huge detriment to my experience! The final issue was that every time I beat the boss on the third round I got a game over :(. Very sad the game will not recognise my hard earned really skilled awesome amazing win.

Well done ferrine!

Amazing work creating a boss fight in just 3 hours! Really enjoyed the gameplay factor of the game.

The weapon sacrifice is a brilliant idea to add difficulty progression to the game---however, for most of my gameplay I used the bow mainly. To be honest, I'm not particularly good at boss fight/bullet hell games so I haven't defeated the boss after my weapon sacrifices yet, but I will hopefully have time to play the game again before/after the jam ends!

One small Issue I found was that the shield does not work on my side---I couldn't use the shield. In addition, I suggest a full screen mode of the game, as the itch browser tends to behave weirdly with games that require mouse control. However, this is not yours or the game's fault at all.

Great job!
