nice entry! initially it was little difficult for me to understand but later got it .....

Developer

Thank you, we were afraid it would be too complicated to understand, don't hesitate to tell us what would be cool to improve!

I really like how you took the theme of "cults" but put a more bureaucratic spin on it! The rules were simple and it was never unclear whether someone was following the laws of the cult or not. I am unsure whether the people who were let in the gates were "sacrificed" of if the people we turned away were sacrificed for not following the cult's ideals? Either way it was an enjoyable game!

Thanks for playing the game and the feedback!
I'm glad you were able to understand the rules quickly as we weren't sure they were clear!

The goal of the game is to validate the people who sacrifice themselves. ahah but thanks for playing

Love these types of games! The visuals and gameplay are really well done.

By reading the texts provided, I am able to get a general understanding of the lore to the game---brilliant design to contain the lore in the game's message itself. I played the game twice to see the different endings I could get if I either let the father in or not---and got the literal "special ending"! Wish that after the jam the endings could be polished; however, it is a really short jam and the gameplay itself is really impressive in 6 hours!

The UI menu feels a bit buggy as I couldn't drag some items at times, but not much other issues! Pretty well polished overall!

Great job!

Thank you for playing the game and leaving a review!

We aimed to make player choices meaningful by focusing on ethical and moral dilemmas. Unfortunately, we ran out of time to fully develop it (and the endings) but I'm really glad you enjoyed it!
