I think the use of marimba was a good choice to evoke a more beach-type atmosphere. A lead voice and maybe some other pads (like others brought up) would be a good thing to look at in my opinion. To me, the piece didn't really develop much, so adding some variation is much needed. I did think it was cohesive overall and you have some interesting rhythms in there.
