I don’t know how you got the sound of the main instrument you use, but it really makes me think of something that Google says is called a Boomwhacker. The rhythms you use are really intricate and make this a fun piece that would be really cool to see performed live by a group of percussionists. The flow of how this piece progresses reminds me of the theme of Besaid Island from Final Fantasy which certainly matches the beach vibe of the image you chose. The picture looks so serene and peaceful, and your use of pure diatonic Ionian harmony supports that well.
