End life plan
I will leave it available online here on Itch. It's an attempt to document me and my life as a trans person so far this year. I also plan to archive it on my personal hard drives. And the real actual diaries and photos are planned to be donated to a historical archive when I die or no longer have space to keep them, as a historical record of trans existence in the 2020's.
Transparency note
All of the text and images are photos and diary entries from throughout this year, but were not made/taken/written with the intention of making this game, they were just documentation of my personal life. All of the coding, scanning, compiling, and collages were done during the jam,

Really powerful and personal visual novel. Loved how honest and raw the diary entries felt. The collage style adds a unique touch. Thanks for sharing your story. Great job! By the way, was this made using Renpy?
It is! I can't really code, so Renpy and twine are about the only things I can make games with lol
This was a very vulnerable experience, I love the visuals!! I hope you keep making art as long as possible :)
good game :)
The title gave creepy pasta vibes :D
Well the documentation of your existence is now and forever will be on my computer :D
Good work!
Some of the passages here hit unbelievably close to home. This was really powerful, and I'm glad I experienced it. Thank you.
I love Cat Felix! The "bad day at a con" art is super cute too. Love this take on the theme, not to mention the quite literal "end of life plan". Really interesting and cool project!
The central point, documenting your existence, is something that gets it's value from the fact that our lifetime is limited. Why else would we need to document it? But even within this narrative you briefly touch on another example of a limited lifetime: Arthur Morgan, and how you started a new playthrough to "really savor being him". That's something that stuck with me, a nice little wink at the jam theme from within the game, from before the jam. The excerpt is obviously intentionally included, but was it a conscious choice based on the theme of the jam? Whether or not it was, I picked up on it.
The 4/17 entry is beautiful. I can't imagine living through being a trans person in the US right now. Stories like yours, documented like this, are very important which I'm sure you know.
I quite loved this :) Thank you for letting me know you
Thank you I'm really glad you enjoyed it :) And yeah, the RDR2 section was very much intentionally added. I thought about cutting it, but I liked how it played into the theme of the jam in all the ways you said, so I decided to leave it in lol. Thank you for your thoughts on my little project <3
