- The Last Bullet is a highly enjoyable and addictive top-down shooter with bullet hell elements. The movement feels fluid and responsive, making the gameplay satisfying. I especially liked the theme interpretation, the idea of having only one reusable bullet is creative and well implemented. The variety of upgrades also adds a nice sense of progression and keeps the experience engaging. Your GDD is currently quite minimal and lacks several key components. I recommend reviewing the provided example document. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Vl7BMvzUOhbunJrI_X1gUc6x-LAp3aaBiPwHUf27B70 Overall, this is a strong and polished entry with clever mechanics and fun progression.

Cool game! I've been trying to make something similar (not for the jam), and I'll definitely take some inspiration from your game)
Autoreload on pickup wouldn't hurt, though.
Thank you! The reload after picking up the bullet was an intentional decision to make the game more "tense", but it could be an upgrade. Thanks again for playing.
Simple but effective, I played several runs. I like the mechanic that force you to get the bullet again. I would indicate that you need to recharge with R or used the mouse right button for that
Thank you!
It's pretty fun. Plain and simple.
Thank you!
my style of game, I liked it! I got to wave 12, the boss spawning on top of me in round 5 and 10 did not help with that :D. Not sure if the magnet works tho and if trigger the "explosion" bonus twice did anything.
Hey! Thank you. On the 12-wave, things get unbalanced. I need to fix it. I forgot to mention the key (HOLD RIGHT CLICK) when you have the magnet to work, on the How to Play section, and the Explosion upgrade does really only explode one time, even though it keeps appearing on the upgrades (need to fix that too, or add more explosions with each level).
A funny concept delivered well, easy to jump straight in and good replay value. I enjoyed exploring the different upgrades, trying to get odd numbers of the wall bounce upgrade so that it would return to me at the end.
I ended up in a few tense spin-offs as I desperately scrambled around the feet of a gun-wielding enemy as I tried to collect my bullet without getting shot - a very funny image!
This is a good entry, great work.
Really appreciate you taking the time to play and share such a fun recap of your experience. Thank you.
Great Game, i really enjoyed!
Thanks!
Good game, like the arcade classic, SmashTV. Good execution of the theme. I only made it to wave 8. Fun
Thanks! I plan to polish the waves. After the first boss, the difficulty gets really hard.
Great mechanic here to fit the jam theme. This was very simple, but I had a lot of fun. I'd like to see more upgrades, maybe different guns.
Thanks! I'll try to come up with some more upgrades and ideas in the future.
I had fun with this. The right combination of upgrades felt powerful.
Thanks!
Nice, really interesting concept. Movement felt a bit awkward though. I couldn't quite get used to it
Hey, Thanks! Did you play on a controller or keyboard/mouse? I didn't have much time for polishing the movements on a controller, but with keyboard/mouse, at least for me, it's working fine; The "aim" is pointed to your mouse position, and the movements are in 8-direction with WASD keys.
Keyboard and mouse. For some reason I was expecting W to go forward, maybe because of the perspective and pressing R is not the most convenient button. Anyway, just some skill issues on my side probably!
Fun game, keeps you on edge when trying to get your bullet back!
Thanks!
