Pretty good game. It starts simple but gets very cluttered and hectic towards the end, which I like. You have to do a bit of reading and math, so this game really invokes some ABCYA.com vibes, but I really enjoyed it.

There’s definitely something here. I played the game all the way through, experimenting with various upgrade paths. I eventually settled on upgrading damage until I dealt 50 damage per hit the very first time the upgrade menu appeared, after which I never bought any upgrades or used any abilities for the remainder of that run. Dodge chance is kind of annoying because you can really get cooked by the time thieves if you roll poorly, but honestly the game is short enough that restarting a few times isn’t too punishing. I liked it.

Also, the Fish is overpowered.
Yeah the shotgun boost mechanic is kind of poorly done. It has a tendency to give more horizontal momentum than vertical momentum which makes using it as intended kind of difficult. There’s also a bug with the code that checks if you’re pointing it at the ground that makes it so that you also get the vertical boost if you’re aiming it at the ceiling.
Glad you enjoyed it tho.
This one was kind of a mixed bag. I usually enjoy platformers, even rage games, but idk, something about this one felt a little off. Maybe it was the animations making blocking and throwing feel sluggish, or the fact that you can’t change direction while blocking, or maybe that I didn’t realize that you could recall the shield until 15 minutes into my playthrough (skill issue). The lingering explosion hurt boxes messed me up a bit but I got used to it over time. I mean the art and soundtrack are really nice, like maybe in the top 20% of what I’ve played so far of this jam, but I kind of stopped having fun after the twenty minute mark. Still beat it though. Always give a game a fair chance till the end.

Great everything all around the board. The lack of a jump threw me for a loop for a second, but the movement is very intuitive. The story, visuals, audio, etc. were all really well made. Probably the best story out of the games that I’ve played so far. Really impressive for a solo dev.
Usually I take a screenshot of the end screen if I beat the game, but it kind of just cuts to black for this one sooo…
Pretty good overall. Fits the limitation well. The simple high-score based gameplay is very addicting and well done. The only thing I found annoying was waiting for the level to naturally end after all my crates were destroyed, but I didn't really run into this problem much aside from my first few runs. Good job.
Really liked it. It's a pretty simple concept but it fits the theme and limitation well. I particularly enjoyed how the coin sound effect increases in pitch the higher your combo is. It's a nice touch. If I had to give one critique, it's that there isn't much of a reason to not keep the parachute toggled.

I played three runs, all of which ended in me going out of bounds somehow.
It’s a little weird that you can’t shoot towards the top left.
But the gameplay was very smooth and enjoyable regardless.
