This is cool! Love that it gets away from the classic themes of violence and raiding but still presents a tense challenge. Would love to see more levels and complexity!

This is a really solid entry. I can see how you'd develop it further with the papers please style money management. I found it a bit tricky at first before I realised you didn't have to get the rune 100% perfect. I think the characters should have been more in the centre of the screen. You've done some great character models but they get mostly covered by the dialog box. When you could have used some of the dead space above the characters. Overall though, I found the gameplay interesting, I'd definitely play more of it. Congrats.

I like how you guys made an effort to match the game page design with the game’s artstyle. I love the sound design and soundtrack in general. The running text SFX though, is rather jarring, and I think you guys attached that SFX to the Master bus instead of the SFX bus. I tried muting each of them, and that SFX was only affected when the Master was muted.

I was surprised by how dark the game was - and it took me quite some time to figure out that it was a typing game! It would be great to have it in the description somewhere - I eventually found it in the last two words in your description. Up until it hit me, I was trying to draw the runes with my mouse!

Extremely interesting choice to swap out what was typed in with the lexicon of that time! Inspiring to see how we can tweak our design to be that much more historically accurate. Thank you for your entry!

Loved this game, I was able to play a few rounds and had a fun time. The longer prompts got challenging. The pixel art was very cute as well!

The high I got from the client appreciation here rivals some real world joys. The browser version seems to crash out quickly, but it was so good while it lasted: from the visuals to the head tilting nerves, this is definitely the first time-sensitive typing game I’ve ever enjoyed. Really charming.

Thanks for your positive comment! Yeah the crash out is fully my fault (forgot one line of code), so maybe I'll have to recompile the game after the voting period is over (and start play testing more thoroughly) !

A fun game and a most original concept!
