I felt like since both characters are using physics to move, they sometimes don't move exactly at the same place even with the same inputs so they can desynchronize pretty easily, which feels unintented (I don't know if this was or not). Same with death and respawn it was pretty confusing at first to see the entire screen fade when falling in a pit when only the character that fell respawned.
But despite I think that it's pretty cool to see the level ideas, the body stacking mechanic and an intro cutscene, especially if this is your first game!
Thank you so much! Yeah, it's messy, we tried to do a lot. probably too much in the time we had, but wanted to try to be ambitious. Thank you so much for your time!
Cool game!! A little more intuitiveness with like animations that make the interactions more visible would be great. It was tough to understand what I was supposed to do or what a button did at times.
i cliked buttons and my past self kept getting stuck but my future self was pretty cool - really fun story quite a few bugs but a fun idea for loops! great job!
Interesting concept.
thanks for the game, interesting concept. after a few check points I wasnt able to find the next path forward, but well made platforming mechanics
This is a really solid project for a first game!
The concept of stacking the bodies to fill up gaps was really interesting, and the split screen shows a lot of ambition! The cutscene in the beginning was also well illustrated.
Great job! My first game was also made during a GMTK Game Jam a few years ago.
Keep making games!
Thank you so much! We had a lot of fun with the idea. I did the art.
The art was really good!
One tip about importing pixel art into Unity: make sure you turn off the bilinear filter in the image import settings so it looks crisp on screen.
If you have some time on your hands, feel free to check out my submission too :)
Ayeee thank you!
Fun platforming with dual characters! Wasn't exactly sure I solved many of the puzzles the way it was intended, so I was missing that "Aha" moment. Enjoyed this one
appreciate the comment, this is the first game i have ever made so it WASNT perfect but im glad you gave it a try 🙏
