Very adorable take on the theme, and one that I find pretty interesting from a consequence and reward perspective, in that the act of chasing your own tail is both the primary loss and win condition depending on the dog's state. Whether intentional or not, that clash really benefits the energy and theming of the game, where usually a dog biting their own tail would be very bad, but when they have zoomies they're so overexcited that what they should or shouldn't do just gets thrown out the window in a burst of energy. Really good work here!
