I clicked a lot then finished the game, art is cool and sound too, but I didn't understand the game :/

I have no idea why i kept playing this game. Very good art and vibes, no idea what's going on. /jam/gmtk-2025/rate/377654

I don't quite understand how the gameplay works, but the art is so cute to look at. I bet this will be a very good indie game if you plan to include a tutorial at the start. Also, the cartoon of the dice is so smooth. Love it.

No clue what was going on but the sound made me have fun regardless

I have no idea what I'm doing or what goal is, but it's still pretty fun to play. Also, audio is pretty good in there.

Developer

thank you for giving it a go! Apologies for the randomness, wanted to leave it slightly mysterious

The goal of the game is a bit confusing. The sound effect are satisfying. I think the game could use some more guidance either through the game itself or through the game page itself. I like the artwork in the game. congrats on your submission!

Developer

Thanks for giving it a go! Glad the sound is nice, you are correct, I could have communicated better, have now left a comment at the main page so people aren't super confused :D Thanks again!

different locations gave you points. By clicking on them, things changed. Enough points, and titles were awarded to you. If one location had more points than others, you unlock unique portrait.

was a bit confusing but still looked great (as usual lol) and was pretty enjoyable :)

thanks for dropping by malek!

Indeed... I think I have a clear pattern of comments in all my games for the past few years, I have to become better!

The art and sound design are pretty good and the concept is intriguing, but sadly there's little-to-no explanation of what's going on, I don't really know what's doing what and what the end goal is.

thanks for giving it a go! Wanted to keep things mysterious (plus couldn't code things properly in time)

I didn't really understand what happened at the different spots around the loop. Got really intrigued and wanted to play more but couldn't figure out the goal of the game. Nice graphics and sound!

Nice, I won! I appreciated the minimalist UI but did feel a little confused as to the goal as a result.

Developer

thanks for giving it a go! Sorry for the confusion! Had a BIG idea, that couldnt pull it off, so in the end, its just a path and a few mechanics

i liked how i could upgrade my die - but i didnt know what the jingling buildings did when i clicked them. fun and mesmerizing either way! what a peaceful stroll

Developer

thanks for trying it out and clicking on things! I wanted to leave it a bit ambiguous, but I am so happy you found how the dice works!

Is there any point to the game other than just walking around or am I just stupid? :D

Developer(+1)

hehe thanks for playing domke! I did manage to code some level of player interaction and choice adjusting the dice and such, but mostly I was learning how to make boardgame movement and figuring bugs :D thanks for giving it a go and leaving a comment!
