Whoa, this is awesome! Very well made, and being completely solo blows me away. Definitely my highest rating for "Enjoyment".

Great animations. I had a few things I didn't get until the game started. Good graphics and sound. Polished. Just made me want to play real bones with my buddies.

OMG!!! Super Polish!!!!!! Well Made GAme!!!!!!!

Such a cute twist on the topic!!!! Adorably little guy :D

Wow this is such a well polished, fun game! Controls are so well visualized. The artstyle and music are so fitting too!

Really nice idea but I found it really hard to actually make loops. Maybe it’s just me.

Very cool idea and super fun to play. Could easily expand it with more deckbuilding mechanics and it would be a full game. Great job!

Hey this is a really cool take on the score-chaser/deck builder idea! And we love choosing 1-of-3 things here too!

My only feedback would be it would be nice to be able to control the rotation of the domino you place, so you could choose which direction it went on the end of the chain.

We also created a deckbuilder/score chaser for our game jame game, so would love your feedback too if you want to give it a try!

Great take on the theme and closing a loop is super satisfying!

Really enjoyed the visuals, definitely very polished and stylish as usual! I had the same issue as one of the other comments where I didn’t understand why sometimes I couldn’t place a bone where I wanted, but I think in my case it’s just me misunderstanding the basic rules of dominoes.

I played this yesterday on stream (video here) if you’re interested in watching a playthrough of your game. Please excuse the obvious mistakes I made 😅 (after watching it back, I’m thinking “of course you can’t place a domino there, duh”). I had a good time though, great job!

Cool, always interesting to see someone play your game! You kept trying to do the sideways placing "the wrong way" around. Makes sense that it would work that way too. But this didn't even cross my mind as normally as far as I remember in dominos you can only place normally and sideways at the tip of a bone, here the rule when you're allowed to play sideways is just different.

Hope it didn't feel too frustrating with the constant "why can't I place this here". 😅 Most of those indeed were pretty obvious to me at least but there indeed were some cases where one could reasonably think that should be allowed.

Thanks for playing! ❤️

Just learned how to play Dominoes last year so when I saw this I was like... nice! Great tie in to the theme. Immediately drawn in by art and music too.

Super polished like usual and a cleaver idea! The way the skulls forces you to your inevitable doom is good, much better than a "moves left" counter or something, and more original than having something like the Balatro "minimum score" requirement. I really liked the character bouncing around too, adds a lot of charm. Only complaint is that for me the ending felt a bit slow and painful since I never managed to finish what I was building, but that might just be a skill issue.

This is an AMAZING arcade-style game! Really got my brain pumping. Also apparently I made a loop so big the game crashed xD

Developer

Yeah, who could have guessed that trying to brute force through all the possible iterations of paths isn't a great idea. 😅 Especially doing it in a not all too optimal way and reserving too much memory. The count of different path possibilities gets kinda insane when you have like 20 forks on the board. I do have a fix ready for it already but obviously can't push an update yet.

Nice game it is a little hard to create a loop but it made my brain moving.

Really creative game!

Although I feel like after a while it becomes rather monotonous, I wish there was a little more to do...

Still a great game, of course!

What a fantastic game! The creativity, music, and art are all outstanding. I absolutely love dominoes!
Great game!
Because my English skills are limited, I haven't fully grasped some of the mechanics yet, but I'll keep trying.d(゚∀゚d)

This pretty much tells you everything 😅 And other than these, just make LOOPS

Very fun game!! But i really don't like that the charatcer always sad something and to interfere on field. It's noizy.

Developer(+1)

Well, not always. Just until it has told all the base mechanics ie. something like 5-10 moves.

Submitted

Yeah, sorry, not always you are right. I just wanna play and he was a little annoying at the start.)

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Yeah, fair enough! I guess there could be better ways to teaching the basics. Especially since people still seem to miss them...

Super fun! :)

Wow that was REALLY fun. I love the hoppy guy too lol. Looping dominos is such a nice take and integrates so well into the game, cuz I could just go linear but I get greedy and keep on trying to loop and end up trapping myself in skulls!

Submitted

That was a super creative interpretation of the theme! I always loved playing with dominoes and this was like going back to my childhood haha. The game feel is done exceptionally well for such a short time period, good job!
