How does your game fit the theme?
You use your loop power to go back to the begining leaving an echo of you in place that acts as a platform

I liked the idea, but the player physics were pretty slippery and floaty so it was a lot harder to do platforming than it should be. It's also rpetty easy to cheese levels by jumping around all of the components which the floaty physics makes a lot easier. Maybe there could be a limit to how many echoes you can make?
Still, the game was pretty enjoyable and I had a fun time. Good work!
We had some similar ideas. I like what you did with is. Well done!
Thank you so much for not making this punishing, and making it quick to respawn when you die! I'm not sure if you've seen UFO50, but one of the games in that works similar to this, it's a really cool idea!
Mortol (playthrough)
I found I could circumvent much of the puzzle aspect of the levels just by making an alternating ladder, so I think if you ever took it further you'd maybe need to find a way to reward players for not doing that. Great job overall!
Here's a video of my playthrough, which contains my feedback. I play your game at 2:55:00
very good pacing very cool idea haven't seen in the jam like this yet! my brain wanted to keep pressing space to jump so it took a while to get used to controls. I enjoyed all the mechanics tho! great game!
very cool!
Interesting mechanics. I have been seeing a lot of these lately. Your entry is pretty nice in that it gets you restarted ASAP so you can quickly get back to the platforming. I quite like the audio as well. Good job!
Cute game!
The controls felt a little out of my hands but I was able to make it through a lot of levels!
If you find the time to, feel free to check out our game as well!
The aspect i enjoyed the least in this game were the slippery controls, they made it difficult to land on the tiny platforms that i was making for myself. However, i still had a lot of fun! I think if the movement is made a little bit more precise the experience will be even better! I'd play a bunch of levels of this game, it was fun!
I’ve played through several platformers revolving around using your previous selves to aid you but this one is one of the more polished ones, so good work on that! Thank you for the generous coyote time.
Very interesting concept! The game feels polished, and the level design took effort. I just couldn't quite get used to the slippery controls haha. Keep it up!
It’s really nice! I like the player controls, they’re quick and smooth. The game is really clean and polished, which is cool! Most of the levels can be done by just spamming a ton of clones, avoiding the parkour altogether, but I think it’s cool that there are different ways to win!
I’ve accidentally spawned too many clones and made itch shout at me(Uncaught RuntimeError: memory access out of bounds) but I don’t think that’s a problem for normal players 😅
Clever and well executed mechanic with a lot of fun puzzle patformer potential. I think my only complaint is the copy button being spacebar, as I kept clicking it to jump, but this is probably just a skill issue.
This game hits that sweet spot between clever and cozy. The “leave an echo to move forward” concept is intuitive and opens the door to some really cool puzzles. It felt nice to control,. Would love to see more levels or maybe a challenge mode for speedrunners :P
Well executed, felt good to play
The controls was smooth, the simple square is ideal for this game. i was ready to play more level tbh. Nice game. I can see a mode where you have limited number of placements to add a challenge for those hardcore of us.
Short and sweet! Loved the game and the movement of the player character fit the puzzle platforming needed for the game.
Eyyyy, we had a similar idea! Love how the vibe given by the visuals and music. Awesome job, was a ton of fun!
Really clever and well-executed mechanic. Ends up being a lot trickier than it looks, but in a satisfying way. Love the quality of life addition of keeping a key after you obtain it so you can make platforms without penalty. Great job!
This was fun, fun right off the bat and easy to understand! Only feedback would be to make the restart button more prominent, or maybe a "R" shortcut, or maybe I just had to restart a lot lol.
