NICE. With a bit of polish this would be a banger.

Such a cool mechanic and really fun in execution really clicked with me in the puzzle level once you get the hang of it, it controls really well the audio gets a little much when more than 2 or 3 enemies are shooting at the same time however

a very cool speedrunning game! it was a bit clunky to get used to but once u get the hang of it you can really blast through! really fun game (also cowboy buddies!)

Cool game and concept! The Youtube tutorial helped a lot since I don't know much about these kind of speedrunning games. Definitely felt like it was designed by a speedrunner for other speedrunners.

Nicely done!

I Have my speed run on the home page, if any of you beat that feel free to post it :)

This game rules. Took a min to get the hang of the controls but after that it was a great time. Loving the Neon White and Cowboy Bebop vibes. (and ty for the solutions video, I was totally stuck on that last one)

Developer

Thank you so much for playing! I was really going for Cowboy bebop vibes especially for the music ( there's music its just off by default :/ i'm dumb

I might be dumb, but I have no clue how to beat the "Rampage" level.

if you get stuck you can try looking at the playthrough I posted (there are timestamps), have you playe through the tutorial? you just have to kill all the enemies then grab the crystal. Make sure to play the tutorial. - To kill enemies left click to lasso them, then swing your mouse to the side to fling them into a wall. they will die on contact.

Submitted(+1)

I did play them, but I forgot you can kill enemies by swinging them to the walls! (it was the first tutorial after all). It's pretty fun!

Developer

Yeah i get that, it is a game jam so it is a lot to ask to play through a whole tutorial, i'm glad you're having fun! thanks for playing!

Really nice game, I love the game mechanics. I did get squished outside the map for some reason, but I still enjoyed it a lot! For the lasso, is there like a number count of how many lasso I have left? Or does the length of the lasso in the bottom left has something to do with that? I also saw your critique on the other Ai submission, nice job mate. If possible, would you also try out my game? Cheers on the hard work

Developer

Thanks for playing! Yeah as it says in the tutorial getting hit by enemies or using your lasso makes you lose rope, you then have 3 seconds to find some more or you lose.

I tried fixing the squish but alas i am a weaker developer than the squash lol, i just put a kill box just in case.
