A cool story with great art and satisfying sound effects! great job!
If you don't mind, please consider rating my game as well :)
Really enjoyed the game. The narrative and art were amazing
Very impressed with all the artwork and the narrative, made in just 4 days. The gameplay is pretty interesting, especially when it ramps up, but I do think the game is a little on the longer side - if it were shorter it would've felt like a tighter experience. But otherwise I liked it!
Glad you like it :) And I totally agree that 30 sec seems too long after death once...
Fun little game. Particularly enjoyed the storytelling and narrative.
Was fun zooming around at hyperspeed haha.
Cute artwork, the dodging is not the hardest, but enough to keep you going
Had a lot of fun playing. The difficulty ramped up quite a bit after the first few levels!
Starts of slow, but gets pretty crazy.
Haha I can just sit in the corner....., OH NOO not the lasers !! I love th art and music too, specially the square bullets
Well done! The art was great and the dialogue too. You managed to create some really endearing characters in such a short time! The bullet hell was well made too :) Would have like some more more mechanics for the player though.
That was a fun bullet hell! I particularly liked the snappiness of the movement and the art of the close-ups. i reckon a really simple area of improvement is maybe more SFX (e.g. footsteps or getting hit). Great job!
edit: on a second playthrough, I realised there are actually both footsteps and getting hit SFX but they only seem to last for the first level (a bug maybe?)
Yeah there's a bug on web version ( which don't know why and what cause it ), but in windows version , it seems no sound effect error. Anyways, glad you enjoy :)
I really enjoyed the gameplay. The speed and hitbox feel were great. A static camera might help reduce visual strain and make it easier to focus. Adding clearer feedback when you get hit, like camera shake or sound effects, would improve the experience. Also, the penalty for dying feels a bit harsh since you restart from the very beginning. Overall, a solid concept with room to polish.
Really like this! The speed and leniency of the hitboxes felt great. The only thing I'd suggest is have a static camera to make it easier on the eyes, and give a clearer indication of when you're hit. Maybe some camera shake and a sound effect.
I wish I didn't go so far back when I died because it really seemed like the story was going somewhere interesting. I think a static camera and a focus button to move slower would have also been very nice.
Linux version works fine. Kinda disappointment that you're only allowed to be hit twice before being forced to start from the very start
