I was confused at first and wasn’t able to understand game rules but was able to after few attempts! Btw the gameplay is very good and well fitted. Cheers!
Pretty fun, but I don't really understand how it fits the theme.
No worries, I appreciate the critique. My rational for the loop comes from the way scoring works. The output (total score) from one round becomes the input (baseline score) for the next, like a feedback loop.

Cool idea! Once I understood the mechanics, it was fun to play and strategize. The game does seem to end quickly before the loop can take off. Maybe increasing the threshold for winning/losing as a different mode can help.
Thanks for the feedback! Honestly, I worried so much about making the threshold too high and having players get stuck in a long tug of war. But now that I've had some time to step back, I like the idea of a variable threshold. I'll look to add it after the jam.
Easy to pick up, simple, and addictive! Great game altogether. Had a laugh at your note about the return to main menu button
Had to check this out to see how other card games implemented the theme.
Once you understand the rules, its getting quite fun! The few rules lead to some interesting strategic decisions you have to think about :)
