The art is awesome! I love the stacking effects, I am an artifact hoarder

Yeah after the jam I definitely want to spend some more time juicing it up! Thanks for playing :)

(1 edit)

Yeah since I was developing solo for this jam I decided to keep the scope pretty tight. I thought a simple reasoning game with looping game play would be most manageable for me this go around! I wanted to add more of a tutorial level to explain how the changelings affect the quests but I ran out of time :/

I am thinking of spinning this off into a dispatch style team builder that is more hands on with distributing skill points on successful quest completion and stuffs.

Anyways thanks for playing :)

You gotta figure out who the changelings are before time runs out!

Narrative? Minigames? sign me up! I had blast. I also love cats so this was extra fun!

Here is mine! It is an Avalon inspired  game where some of your teammates have been replaced by changelings! I will give yours a play too :)

The controls felt really good! I had a blast jumping around

Awesome art! I had a lot of fun running around. It took me a bit to understand when to go to each room but I caught on eventually

Yeah! I had a couple of the character portraits already (one is actually a D&D NPC of mine). The rest of the character portraits, sprites, background art, and UI I made or customized during the jam.

The graphics are great and I loved the music.  You really created a spooky atmosphere. It reminded me of Jack Box Trivia Murder Party a bit.

It took me a few tries to understand how to play (I didn't realize that my number went first) but once I got it I had fun! Happy to report I was the last one standing.

The UI was a little difficult to see and appeared pretty tiny but I am on my smaller laptop so maybe just a me problem.

Awesome work!

Well I just pulled an all nighter but I got it done. This was the first jam I have done on my own and yikes that was a lot.
My game is a Avalon inspired quest game. There are changelings wearing the faces of your friends and you have to try and figure out who is who before the campaign is lost.

I am excited to play your guy's games! If you send them here I will take a look (after I am done passing out from exhaustion)
Fairy Quest

So so cute. I love turn based strategy games and had a lot of fun with this. I do think the scaling was a bit steep but there is definitely a good core concept. The title is so funny

Such cute art! I didn't excel at the gameplay but the art kept me playing!

This game is so clever and fun! I spent wayyy too much time playing it. The level design is awesome, it really made me think. 10/10

Really fun writing!

Really cute and fun! I crashed a few times

So meta. Great for re-traumatizing myself post-jam!

Loved the knitting noise and relaxing vibe!

Easy to pick up, simple, and addictive! Great game altogether. Had a laugh at your note about the return to main menu button

really nice cozy vibe. I enjoyed taking care of the little person.

It really enjoyed exploring childhood memories. It felt very nostalgic and cozy!

Having the player be a playtester was really fun. I really enjoyed the noises the rats made and the "bug" being part of the gameplay!

Really fun levels. It definitely makes you think. I ended up playing way longer than I thought I would!

Very pretty and relaxing! I loved the music. The flowers and music reminded me of Barbie 12 dancing princesses.

I love the art!

Really fun!

Once I understood the controls, it was so addictive! Great game!

Super fun I loved it
