How does your game fit the theme?
We were initially inspired by the looping motion of rotary phones and thought it would be fun to also explore the idea of 'looping in'—as in connecting with customers. This led us to the concept of using a rotary phone in a customer service setting within a fantasy world.

Couldnt run it sadly because it sounded really fun. Memory access out of bounds. weird.

So cool! I love the use of runes on the rotary phone. The aesthetic is well done and creates a very cohesive vibe.

One of the more creative and polished entries!

So well-executed!  I really wanted to provide good customer service, there are so many quality issues with our magic items, it's a shame.  I'm so stressed!  Great job and polish, creative concept.

First of all, it should be illegal for a game jam game to look this good.

Second, the idea is very creative and was quite fun - although it felt like the gameplay could use some more features. Still i enjoyed it a lot, although it took me a while to remember how a rotary phone works lol

Developer

Thank you so much! It means a lot to us. We definitely wanted to add more features but we couldn't fit it with the given timeframe :"D

The art and audio is amazing! The rotary phone is really well implemented and enjoyable to play with; I especially like the dialing sound it makes. Though, it did take me some time to figure out how to use a rotary phone...

This was a lovely take on the theme. The idea of Fantasy Customer Support is great in itself, but then you paired it with some absolutely wonderful lines of dialogue as well. "My sword is arguing with my shield", ma'am, I have 4 more callers on the line, and Shaerdric has threatened to quit if I redirect another call to him, just tell your animate objects to take a time out.

My only ask would be that the game could ramp up a bit slower, and I wish there was a key to quickly clear the number you've entered. The first playthrough when the phone keeps going off and you accidentally enter a wrong rune is actually just an anxiety simulator.

Overall though, great scores across the board.

Thank you so much for the wonderful feedback!

Very polished and cool! I had to google how to use a rotary phone and it was frustrating if I messed up inputting the first digit to reset it by throwing in 5 more random ones to try again, but I suppose that's part of the fun and just how rotary phones work in the first place!

Thank you!

Very unique take on the theme! I did find it a bit confusing to exactly know which category to call though.
