interesting concept but I would like to see more control over the outcome. It would be nice to see enemy intent or ability to replay a section until you get it.

I enjoy the core gameplay a lot as far as having to manage movements and attacks to outmaneuver enemies. I do wish that you were able to drag the cards to play them as clicking back and forth became a bit tedious over time especially for navigating between levels and to the shop. Some of the enemies seemed to cover each other up on a given square which sometimes made it hard to tell what was where. Additionally the pawns weren't very visually distinct from the bishops.
That being said the game was fun and much more polished than I would expect for the game jam. If this were a fully fleshed out game it would probably be something that I would buy.
