In Event Horizon, you are stuck in a time loop around a blackhole and you must complete your mission over and over again, as fast as you can. Don’t try to leave the loop.

I loved this one! The idea of "rebelling" against the narrative is really cool, and I really enjoyed trying random things to try and figure out the hidden tasks :D
I did find a bug where after I died twice in a row to the black hole my ship turned invisible, but it was still playable.
The screen space effect for the distorted space was really cool, how did you manage that one?
All in all a great submission, which I totally expected since event horizon is one of my favorite movies :D
Thanks for your feedback. I noticed that bug too but couldn't fix it because I actually have no idea why it happens. It's rare enough that I ignored it but it happens sometimes.
For the distortion effect: it's a shader inspired from a "ripple" effect. If you look up tutorials for a ripple effect in unity you will easily find a few videos on the topic (I mentioned Unity but it's easy to apply that to other game engines too, it's pretty much having a circle move inwards and apply that to a normal map)
I died like 50 times in a minute but just couldn't quit, I had to save those little space dudes. Fun story cool concept.

Fun idea! I like the visuals and the eerie audio aswell. Using the controller is like 1000 times more enjoyable tho, i kind of struggled on the keyboard. Either way great job! <33

The first loop is kinda hard to complete, but after that the game is really enjoyable. I think if you made the safe zone in the first loop a bit bigger, it would have been great !

The first loop took me a couple of minutes and was extremely frustrating (especially with that sharp death sound). So much so that the option to end the world was a much welcomed addition)
Interesting take on the loop theme, didn't expect the end and that was a nice surprise ! (I had the interstellar theme in mind the entire time I played and it was epic)

Hey for anyone who tried my game, please comment your score! As the creator of the game I played it many times to debug and test it and I got 10.89 second as my best score. Curious to know if someone got a better score!
10.90 is best I could do, and that's without hardmode

Very tricky and looks great. Satisfying when you get the hang of the controls, but definitely no margin for error.
