How does your game fit the theme?
Soul Date uses a unique dialogue loop to feed previous responses back into a new dialogue chain where you choose from custom replies based on your initial dialogue choices. I use this mechanic to explore the topic of loneliness, the loops we get stuck in mentally and romantically, and offer up a way out through self love.

Dig to the StarsI don't usually like games where you have to read a lot of text, so I usually skip it. But not with this game. I was interested in why things are happening and how it all works. It's a really well-made game, I enjoyed it. Sometimes you need to talk to yourself 😁I also liked the music and art, really great work in my opinion.

I'm not so sure how this game play, but that's no doubt a masterpiece. I felt really engaging in this game, the artwork and music just pull you in. The mechanic really fits the topic of loneliness. Really like it, keep it that way!

Fish in JailVery cool art style and flame drawings, I like how consistent the art is! A bit confused by the crystals on top left but it didn't influence me from enjoying the narrative! Hope i can find my soul mate now :p

ThreadspaceThe crystals track your affinity score with your partner - totally forgot to explain them in-game! I'll do so post-jam. More crystals, more likelihood of proceeding to the next stage of the conversation with the same partner. I'm glad you liked the art! Your soul mate is surely just a psychic shop away
That was such an interesting game. I felt a little confused at first (which of course is intended) but once I got there it really pulled me in. I wasn't entirely sure what the crystal balls in the top left were for, but I was getting a lot of them! I know that some actions gave crystal balls and some didn't, so maybe some clarity on what leads to them being obtained would be good. The music choice was great for the game and I liked the art a lot!

Knotty WormQuite a bit of a surprise for a game, nice artwork also. Though I have a 4K screen and having to look left and then right for the conversation is a bit of a neck exercises XD.

Death of The FlowerReally cool and creative game with a great narrative. Such a unique spin on the theme!
Only issue was some of the text was a bit hard to read because it was white on white sometimes, but highlighting helped.
