Quite simple game, the art is pretty cute and the gameplay is easy to grasp, though controlling the ship is still challenging and needs some learning. Having red dots on the map on which direction the planets are are quite a good addition.

One thing I was not sure about is what is the end goal, or is it just survive as long as you can? Also what does different materials do, is it to fix ship or sth else since I think only green is fuel? Might be that I miss a few things as well. Some clearer information in game would probably help.

Thanks for trying out the game :D.

Thank you for trying the game out. We did start out making the game a Megaman clone with a going down theme. But in the end it changed a quite a bit with more puns and more bosses, but it’s only 4 days. I do think your suggestion about changing the shoot to a melee really fixes quite a few points other commenters have pointed out.

The game art style and soundtrack truly drip with nolstagia for the old time. It’s unbelievable any would attempt to do a classic rpg in 4 days for the jam. I think a few people also miss the multiplayer component since it is REQUIRED to beat encounters in this game (a party of 4 at that) and sometimes having others around is quite random as well. A way to balance is probably have some part you can beat single player and some requires multiplayer.

Cool intro as well

Pretty cool short puzzle game (though the last two stumbled me a bit and had to use a bit of hint :P). Art looks cute as well.

Took some time to figure out the mechanic since I’m not familiar with the Hot Potato game at all as others have mentioned (where you have to wait for the time out to tick to 0 to kill the demon). After which I finished the level with the 3 demons lol.

Cool game, nice art and cool animation. Controls are great as well. The sound effects sound a bit underwhelming for explosion I think. Regardless overall a very well polished game.

Pretty cool game with lots of mini puzzle as well as interconnected puzzle. Took me a bit to figure out that you can interact with objects as well. There’s probably a clean way to run through the game and probably rewarding to actually figure out the route. A few things I think might help:

  • the jump is a bit odd since you cannot change direction in air (?) which might cause a bit of frustration when jumping
  • a minimap to keep track of where the key and the chest are (?)
  • time being a bit more lenient? (easy mode for me)
  • a small tutorial zone, can just be a small zone you need to use hand to unlock before you enter the actual level

Other than that the sound track and the art are all awesome. All and all pretty nice. Hello Crow :P

Superb soundtrack and quite a chill experience, though it’s too much chill and not a lot of engagement. Can maybe add a steer mechanic somehow, so player has more agency during their play.

As of now it’s a bit slow for a car themed game.

Pretty cool game, once you hit the flow it really goes, the soundtrack and sound effects do wonder as well. Would be nice to have the bosses tied to specific challenges if you can (or is there already? I can’t really tell).

Thanks for trying the game out.

We agree with your take on difficulties. We were quite busy so we didn’t have a lot of time to balance things out near the end, definitely can use a bit more difficulty adjustment here and there.

Hey you found my other game :P. Thanks for trying it out.

Not exactly vampire but it’s pretty close, the mechanics kinda resemble Ultrakill so you are forced to be constantly on the move, for which we think it fits the theme of Countdown

Interesting concept and execution combining time countdown as a resource, was quite challenging overall. Nice art overall as well. One thing I would probably do is to have the cards color coded to their functions, like red for attack, blue for time or green to heal since the game is designed with time as a resource, having the player browsing the card quickly is nearly essential. As it is right now it takes quite a bit of time to sparse which cards do what - which does eat into the time.

Some unique concept but it’s quite challenging to play (either that or I missed some mechanics or upgrades?) since I just die on the first 2 waves and the sand drains very fast. Might be a bit more beneficial to have some small forms of tutorials or what to do overall in the beginning to lessen the difficult curve a bit.

Thank you for playing the game. Ultrakill was one of the inspiration we pulled from during the making of the game :D. Count Erattack himself was thinking about making a few bosses but saved a bit of resource so we recolored Count Down and it went from there. Glad that you really enjoyed his fight :D

Pretty cool voxel 3D strategy game. From the aesthetic perspective it looks quite chill and plays quite comfy with the turn base aspect. Artwork and soundtrack are all quite well-done. I played on easy but died to the fire (I think I might have misunderstood the requirement to survive the disaster - I’m still quite unsure of it)

Nice puzzle game, the bears and overall art look quite adorable. Different bears can interact with different color interactables are quite cool.

Great soundtrack as well, I do agree with the other about seeing the levels before hand so you can plan ahead a bit. But then it is a puzzle game, so retry might be part of it?

Was glad to find a survivor game this jam, pretty fun gameplay/mechanic. The art, vfx and sfx were awesome as well. The music does not bother me too much but I do agree with the others’ point about it being repetitive.

Sadly I did not make it to the end (died on wave 21) since I was greeding a bit much :P. Again, the art is awesome.

Pretty cool game with pretty nice mechanics, I got to night 8 on first try but died right after (I did lose a few fights before). I admit there are some mechanics I did not grasp fully yet since it’s quite complex, but I do appreciate all the mechanics are explained when hovered over. Also a bit more time to figure out what the enemies do can be beneficial since once combat happens, it’s pretty pray that your lineup can handle it (maybe a preview for incoming combat can be nice?)

Or one could say it’s a Miss Opportunity :P. Seriously though, thank you for trying out the game but our developers’ been quite busy with stuffs it’s quite hard to find the time to implement everything and certain aspects so we have to take priorities.

Pot of Greed is pretty broken :P.

I didn’t survive very long (I tried to play Accept Death to see how it worked but turned out it ended the run lol) but a very fun game overall, can totally see the resemblance to Slay The Spire being all over :P. Pretty cool thematic with the Sword of Damocles hanging over as well.

Great game.

Interesting game with somewhat creative mechanics with some balancing issue? especially some cards are quite strong for what they do (Rend imo). The cards are also quite wordy for what they do, though after a bit I realize it’s just a lot of flavor text. Gameplay-wise it took a bit to figure out and I only won on my second try after understanding what cards do what. A pretty cool game.

The game looks pretty cool and simple mechanic as well, should have anticipated the retail experience lol. Managed to get fired after 7 customers XD.

Great art and cool sound effects. Great work. Though it is a bit hard to grab the correct money sometimes (Especially the old lady with her coins, I think I miss grab her one instead of her 2 so a lot of miscalculation there)

Thank you for playing the game. Concerning the artstyle I don’t have a lot of time for the jam so I did choose a very minimal style so I can pump out art a bit faster for the jam pace, glad that someone likes it :D

Interesting game with pretty cool mechanic. I managed to get pass the Christmas tree but I guess I died to the last boss (the log showed 6/7) since I didn’t roll enough 6 which I guess is partial luck and partially wasn’t able to upgrade the dice that much.

Pretty cool atmosphere too, though the game is quite tiny on my screen (mine is 4K) so it is a bit hard to see things. (The menu was full screen but the gameplay screen is tiny) Great work

A visual novel in a 4 day game jam is quite ambitious indeed. I got the memory ending as my first try, though it did not explain a lot. Plotwise it’s interesting in media res throw the player right in the middle of things going on too, might be playing through some more ending before you get to learn more of the other characters and the world too.

A clicker about rescuing cat is pretty cute. The art feels like someone doing an awareness campaign (or is it already?). Pretty chill game, I’ve managed to finish Oceania and I kinda want to have some kinda upgrade/reward once you clear a continent can be great.

Might let it run for a bit to see if I can rescue all dogs :P

Pretty nice game with fun mechanic and executed quite well. I think I got to around 97 score but died quite bit since I mis-jumped into the ice a lot :P.

Thank you for trying our game out :D. It’s a short jam so we didn’t really have time to adjust/tweak the numbers and balance it as much as we can. Our programmers were also quite busy so we put a lot of priorities on making it feel good first.

Also thanks for appreciating the art, I’ve spent quite some time on it, though not a lot of time for drawing more environmental stuffs :(

Very fun and interesting game, the art and the soundtrack is really great. The dialogue was quite funny also. I think the slash should go through multiple enemies but it didn’t? I did play until I faced the Demon King.

Pretty well polished game and plays quite well, but is quite difficult since early on it takes some time to learn which is doing what functionalities each of the things have. A couple tweaks here and there at the early moment of the games can definitely help.

Good work regardless.

Obviously inspired by Katana Zero :P.

Turn out I miss some mechanics and did not use the sword at all (?), so I guessed I did pass through the levels with just the dash since the crossbow does not shoot for me? Didn’t manage to pass through the whole game but I enjoyed it.

Pretty cool albeit short game, quite neat simple art style and not so complex mechanics but it’s great the countdown is included in stuffs in the environment (though tbh I just gun through everything). Soundtrack and sound effects are great too.

Pretty cool concept and I managed to get to level 5 before decided to stop. But later levels there are just too much going on screen, wherefrom it got real spammy and you need a bit of luck to land the hits sometimes since the controls are not so precise.

Pretty cool background art but quite a mismatch of different so it does look odd here and there. Great use of soundtracks, there are certain level of polishing between the levels as well.

Very fun game. Sublime soundtrack and sound design, I really enjoyed the banter and the countdown sounds. I had a lot of fun. Got some decent time but I did fumble a bit through it. Great work

I think I managed to clip out of the level once or twice, but it does not really matter much.

The art and the music really carried the game, which really established a great atmospheric experience. The gameplay was quite simple, (a bit confusing for me at first but after reading the description I did figure it out).

The story has quite a lot of named characters, but not a lot to tell what/who they are in this universe so I can only take guesses. But I guess it’s up to interpretation

Pretty cute with cool, simple, yet quite fun mechanics. I quite enjoy it though did not really get quite far.

Cool games :D. The art and sounds are cute as well

Figures there’s gonna be quite some similarities between TD games on the beach lol :D

Managed to some of them but they just got snatched at the speed of light lol. Pretty cute game and feels very polished, everything is very well animated and fun to play. Though it gets quite frustrating not being able to do anything for the early waves :(. I guess it mimics life somewhat, nature is brutal after all.

I do agree with the others about the sounds not being a perfect fit, since it’s survival of the fittest out here and the music is like chill to the max

Nice art but quite frustrating to get the timing correctly, I did get the first ending but I cannot time the second flower for the second ending so I guess I will not know what happens.

Pretty neat looking art though, pretty short cool experience.
